[Tech] Finding compible Mobo and Case Hyper 212 Plus

Hey all;

I was not sure wh the most approprie area was so I am dumping it here in general as it covers a few things I am wanting to purce and as the title says, I have recently started upon my jney building a computer and I guess I might have done things a little backwards so far... lol

I purced a Cooler master Hyper 212 Plus after several friends and people online alike recommended them a decent CPU cooler. My original intent was to build a system around my old case (Dell XPS 630i silver/ Black) but I have come to the realizion it will probably be easier and less frustring to go with a new case than to try to mod and or cut or whever else might need to make a new rig and I really do not want th kind of a headache point.

Now th I have bored you all, time the actual questions...

I have read th the Hyper 212Plus might have some issues fitting in some cases and on some Mobo's so I am wondering if those of you who have already walked ph might be able to shed some light on as to wh worked and wh did not as far as a case and a Mobo. I have a 2500k sitting in a nice blue box on my desk and bee I buy a case and it being incompible, I was hoping to get some insight as to wh Mobo and case would be good... I am leaning towards the ASRock Extreme 4 Z68 mobo with a Haf932 case. (just like the way it looks). I was wanting the Lanboy case from Antec, but I have heard th some issues with th CPU cooler fitting properly as well as some other issues. Th and after a trip to microcenter over the weekend, I think I sent my fantasy system build into short circut mode temporarily... I was like a kid in a candy store... thank god I left the CC home or it would have the doghouse me sure....

Any suggestions would be apprecied as I am not committed to anything beyond a 2500k and the coolermaster hyper 212 plus time.

Dagnabbit, why did micro center have to have so many things there... lol

well a while back a friend of mine went "dumpster diving" and handed me some laptops. He said he'd like to fix some of the newer models and sell them, though no luck with those. out of the bunch were a couple dells (one is a inspiron 1525 with a T2370 cpu and good screen, but the system is bricked), a couple IBMs, and some compaq. the newer ones seem to be the most hopeless... heck one doesn't even have a screen!

the 2 IBM pcs i think i can get both working. the systems are an IBM T43 266845U and a IBM T41p 2373GGU. click the links specs.

I think all the T41p needs is another cpu to get it working. it does power on but just sits there. I've taken it apart and the cpu doesn't even get warm, leading me to believe it could be a cpu. hopey not the mobo. either way... those old Pentium Ms should be pretty cheap on ebay so no big loss if it doesn't work. I'd like to get it to work though light gaming, the Fire GL T2 can be "unlocked" to a 9600pro with modded drivers and 128mb dediced memory. it supports up to 2gb ddr1 as well, plenty any older dx8/9 games and any office type stuff. same with the pentium M 1.7 with the 1mb cache.

I've managed to get the T43 working though. I found an old 40gb ide drive the system and stuck th in there, with a large twist tie as its handle! lol. (pics ler) I also swapped the monitor from the T41p to the T43 as the T43's is only 1024x768 while the other is capable of 1400x1050. I currently have 1x 1gb and 1x 512mb ddr2 modules in the T43 also. I was surprised to see th the built in wifi works, no luck with the blutooth yet though. I like th the screens both have a little LED lamp built into the top night time typing :) oh and logging in with the finger print scanner is pretty cool too! both bteries the systems work and are interchanagable on either system, so until i fix the other i have a backup btery the T43 :) each btery gets about 2.53hrs. Both systems have a DVD Rom/cd burner combo drive.

as gaming on the T43, it does fairly well with its X300 with only 64mb on older games. It manages to run HL2 about Med. settings and same with Far Cry, though with lower shadow settings. I'd like to unlock HyperMemory on it to get up to 128256mb total, (64mb is dediced, the rest would be from sys memory) but it seems i'd have to flash a new bios to the gpu.

I'll post pics of the system a little ler, btw typing using the T43! (T43 specs under my avar) Of the two I'll give him one, as th's wh we agreed to if only 2 were fixable, but not sure which ones yet lol. both would be suited my needs as far as light gaming on the go so i'd let him take the pick of the 2. The 1024x768 isn't as well suited web browsing but is not too bad either. not any worse than a netbook! (1024x600... wtf)

Accidentally tapping an applicion on y SpringBoard is a common occurrence all of us th use iDevices. Although it isn't a huge deal to just exit the applicion by tapping the Home button (or other method i.e. Activor method), sometimes it would be nice to have a safeguard th asks confirmion bee launching an applicion. LaunchConfirm by fr0st (@fr0st) gives you the opportunity to utilize capability.

MacPost leaked pictures last week of the next generion iPhone's back panel, and today they leaked pictures of the front.

The photos show an iPhone front panel labeled "N94" with an "Engineering Verificion Test 1" stamp, and is ded March 3, 2011. i have moved ALOT around past year and 6 months, there i could not finish those many projects th i had started, and im sorry th.

and im sorry you guys who followed and cheered me up with y comments, it was very much apprecied.

but now i have finally settled a good period i think :) i got a regular job, good GF, nice little apartment, car, wh more can you really ask ?

now on to the project

i didnt want to start a log until now th im least 50% of the way, most things now are eyecandy, sleeving, details and such

can anyone tell me wh is the difference between these ssd drives please ?
OCZ Agility 3 Series
OCZ Agility 3 Series Solid ste drive 240 GB....

and one
OCZ 240GB Vertex 3
OCZ 240GB Vertex 3 SSD 2.5" SAIII 6Gb/s Read.. ...

i can see the 1st one is 525 read and 500 write speed with seek time 0.1ms and the 2nd is read 550 and write 520 with seek time the same.
if is the only difference with one costing £370 and the other costing £286 will i notice any difference when using my pc ?

or is the Kingston 240GB HyperX a better option ?

if i was gonna spend £370 or £400 on a 240gb ssd the price difference doesnt bother me but if i can get the same speed £286 then why would spend the extra ?

I am having trouble with an icon disappearing when I download it. I am tempting to download the Sonos sound controller app but it just disappears as soon as it downloads all the way. I am JB with the engraved wood HD theme on the verizon network. I had app on my phone previously, then deleted it, and would like to get it back again. any help would be grely apprecied. TIA

Good afternoon. I´ve having issues accessing the Nokia Care Suite firmware repository using navifirm+ 1.3 since August 22nd. Every time I try to retrieve the Product repository I get the following message "Communicion Error: An error occured when tempting to download firmware inmion. [WebException] The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive."

I've tried on several different computers and ISPs but I still am getting an error. Is happening to anyone else?

We've creed first iPhone app! If you like to tweet about poker hands as much a we do, you'll want to check out Poker Tweeter. It automically converts card ranks and suits as you type, and you can calcule win odds multiple set of Texas Hold'em hole cards and up to five board cards.

example, if you type "Player1 shows askd" in a tweet, Poker Tweeter will convert the ranks and suits. You'll see "Player1 shows A♠K♦".

i have an ipod touch 4g on a tehered 4.3 jailbreak (sn0wbreeze). earlier today some of my apps werent opening but everything else was working ok. respringing did nothing so i rebooted and ran ibooty to boot it. the first time it didnt work but th sometimes happenes so i did it the second time. time i got the connect to itunes screen. the weird thing is th i still get push notificions and i can swipe where the stus bar should be to get sbsettings. i can also ssh into it. i had a passcode so i cant get on itunes to restore it. whs going on! is there anything i can do? like how could i remove my passcode via ssh? please help!

I have an RV02BW th I bought on super clearance $75, and my next build is going in it most likely. However, the RV03 is on sale right now also and I kind of like it a lot. Should I just stick with the RV02? It would cost me more money to sell it and get the rv03, which is smaller.

I like the long body of the rv02, and I like the overall look and feel. The RV03 looks a bit more "classy" I guess, but I kind of prefer the raw industrial feel of the 02. is a tough decision me, but I'm leaning towards keeping my 02....

I already have most of the parts planned out, and I have an HX1000 ready it. I just need to decide on the case. My other two cases in use are the 800D and antec 1200. 800D is wer cooled custom, and the 1200 is hybrid. I think I'm going to go air with the raven though, as it's just going to be a gaming machine.

Can anybody recommend an app th will cree gym workouts based on specific filters, like equipment, and muscle groups. I have seen some apps th allow you to filter out exercises, but you still have to build the workout. I have also seen a lot of apps th have prebuilt workouts or genere workouts based off y needs of split/whole body or number of days. I was hoping to find a good app th lets me specify my home equipment, muscle groups, # of exercise's, and will then genere the workout. Thanks.

PERTH, Australia (Reuters) Dolphins in one western Australian populion have observed holding a large conch shell in their beaks and using it to shake a fish into their mouths and the behavior may be spreading.

Researchers from Murdoch University in Perth were not quite sure wh they were seeing when they first photographed the activity, in 2007, in which dolphins would shake conch shells the surface of the ocean.

I am self taught with html, and have used th knowledge to build webs others. I am trying to put together a web, whose design i have no seen bee. To help me expalin , think of a video game UI...

in the top left corner i want a box th will upde with facebook stus automically, and in the top right I would like to put a ROUND google map surrounded by buttons different store locions, and the bottom have the nav bar with icons each type of service. Of cse, in the middle will be a box which overflow: scroll enabled. I want the background image to change every few seconds, the web to adjust itself to the screen resolution size of the user's computer, and the map, nav bar, facebook to stay in the right spot.

An tempt to summarize: video game ui web design with changing background images.

I am trying to think of where i need to start with . I am thinking it will be heavy on java scripting (which i don't know how to code myself, ive always just looked up tutorials or used a pre made script) but i don't even know if is even accomplishable.

so can i make happen? or does it not seem possible?

CPU intel P4 ( i don't know the ghz its 3 or 3.3 )
MoBo Gigabyte GA8I865GME775RH
RAM 1GB
Hardisk 80GB

I will play games like FIFA11, C&C Twilight Tiberian, Star craft 2, DiRT 3, NFS SHIft 2 unleashed, HP pt2 Dehly hallows and other games ( I don't want to play them res.. )

I also plan to edit videos in HD.

I want to stick with an Intel processor, MoBo of MSi, ASUS, RAM 4GB ( 2x2GB ) G.SKILL, Kingston, Transcend. GPU of AMD i ( XFX, Sapphire, HIS )


CPU preferably i5 2500k
MoBo MSi or ASUS suporting the processor
RAM 2x2 GB
HDD 500GB ( I would only store games and software )

I flashed my 6950 to a 6970 with the extra shaders etc etc. My question is, wh if I reinstall windows? Will the card still be a 6970? I'm asssuming it saved it to the card, but I'm not 100% sure. Thanks.

[Mob] Stuck in restore and dfu mode

So, 6 months ago, I jail broke my old iPhone 3GS, of cse, since I had no idea wh I was doing, I have the 6.15 firmware, with the 4.2.1 ispw. Well, it locked up on me soon after, so I just threw it on top of the fridge in disgust, and th's where it's s until now. Fast ward to today.

Decided I want to get working again, so I redownloaded pawnage tool, the 4.2.1 restore ipsw, went through the steps, it gets as far as holding down the option key and picking the custom ipsw, bee it says " iPhone could not be restored because the firmware is not compible"

Now, the way my simple little pea brain understands it, the firmware "6.15" is the iPad, so do I have to download a iPad ipsw, or wh? anyone ever ran into bee? I had to rep ace the hard drive on my MacBook not long ago, so I lost the original custom ipsw. I seem to be able to switch between restore mode and DFU mode, but th's it.

I have had phone a year and a half now, and have never able to make one call from it. Bought it on eBay, it was locked on to &T (I live in northern Canada... We don't get &T) messed up on the jailbreak, couldn't get it to unlock, so here I am. Can anyone help me?

P.S. I don't need to hear how stupid I am. I'm a 40 year old guy th's just trying to learn to do some cool stuff like you guys. Give me a break. Also, I have looked through the other posts, and even though there are many posts th kind of pertain to my problem, I haven't found a fix yet.

P.P.S. I wasn't the one who actually "upgraded" my firmware to 6.15. Th was one of those wizbang stores in west Edmonton mall th could "unlock and jailbreak anything" it didn't even work when i picked it up. (they are out of business now)

Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster here. Just came across The Droid Library recently and thought I'd give it a shot my Galaxy tab. I signed up, logged into the membership area and was pretty impressed.

You can search pretty much any eBook, like Harry Potter, the Twilight books, anything. They have a massive range of comic books too, like Superman, Spiderman, XMen, Manga, Anime, anything. They also have a good range of newspapers, so I get the NY Times on my tab. The m is actually really good and all the downloads are free.

Anyway, I'm not trying to spam um or anything. is an honest review th I thought I would share. I encage you to try it if you are looking eBooks and other written media on y Android devices.

Can be done done? Or does a SIM card have to be installed in order to restore the iPhone?

Reason I ask is because I want to try a new phone th requires a macro SIM card. I do have an adapter but it doesn't really fit my micro SIM th well.... If I like the phone, I plan on restoring my iPhone 4 so I can wipe it and undo my jailbreak.

Hi,

Ever since I bought my Samsung Galaxy S II 4 months ago If I connected my laptop the phone would enter 'PC mode' or would say 'PC mode only available when idle' and I would have to close whever was running the time, worked fine connecting to Kies and syncing my contacts, calendar and upding the firmware etc.

the past week whenever I connect it to a laptop (tried 2) the phone only chargers via USB so I can't get it to work with Samsung Kies. I have tried enabling/disabling USB debugging in the options to no affect. I tried a factory reset assuming th would sort it out and it just the same! how annoying.

any ideas ?

Hi all, when my monitor is connected to my HD 5750 via DVI cable i see a black border (about an inch thick) around all corners of my screen until I see windows login screen. I also see border in safe mode and bios settings screen (the resolution is fine). However there is no such border if I connect it with VGA cable. My card nively support vesa resolution of 1920x1080 and so is the resolution of my LG monitor. I know technically its called underscanning/scaling but how do I fix it. I CCC only helps after windows booted. I need something th can fix under scanning issue bee winnows booted. I can't play with monitor settings on digital input. Is it my gpu or monitor?

Was trying to upde firmware my Galaxy S and was interrupted. Phone now shows a pic of a phone, 2 dots, a warning triangle, 2 more dots and a PC and will NOT go away, no mter wh I do viz try & switch off, take btery out, hold down every key, etc. etc. When trying to do emergency recovery, PC/Kies says th the device is not connected, so it won't let me do a recovery.

Hello, so I got 8GB of memory in total.
On my old motherboard, I could only use the 8GB. but suddenly it failed to start.
Everytime a ram module was in slot 3 or 4 the screen just stayed black. All modules work fine in the first 2 slots.
So I got a new motherboard..But the issue is still there!
First 2 ram slots work, soon as I put anything in the 3 or4'th. It fails. Screen just stays black, as in no signal..
Wh could cause ??

Dear friends,
I need to setup my E71 in such a way th when I set it to the "Night" profile any phone call or text message will NOT make any sound but when someone belonging to my "VIP" group does call/text it will ring.

I have setup a "Night" profile and a "VIP" group and setup the Night profile to be active only the "VIP" group.

From wh I have read all other callers should default to the Silent profile. The Silent profile "Disabled" all types of calls messages.

The problem is th when a nonVIP sends an SMS text message it BEEPS !!! :(

The setup works well the CALLS (it rings only the VIP group members) and I cannot understand why it does not work the damned :) messages.

Any help please ?

I have a problem when enabling S3 suspend to RAM , when I set my computer to sleep, the computer shuts down and all OK, but it doesn't wake properly, it seems to start (power LED and PSU turn on)but the CPU fan doesn't spin up, and monitor doesn't receive signal so I have to reset then it does boot fine though losing the sleep ste in Windows. I'm thinking it's a BIOS issue though I have upded it the lest one (which is a BETA) maybe I will downgrade and test but I would lose support more recent CPUS
If I enable S1 (power on suspend) then all is fine the power LED blinks on and off and it wakes fine.
Wh do you think? my motherboard works OK otherwise.

I have Office 2003 installed on my PC running on Win XP SP3. A few days back I noticed th whenever I double clicked on any Word document I got garbled characters. When I rightclicked on the document and then clicked "Open with > Microsoft Word" the file opened correctly. My all other files (.xls, .ppt, .txt etc.) were opening without any problem. I reinstalled Office without any luck. I also ran virus scan using KIS 2012 but it also didn't find anything. So I decided to uninstall Office 2003 and use OpenOffice instead. But on uninstalling Office 2003 I found th all my files still showed with Office icons. I ran registry cleaners assuming some Office files must still have remained but there was no change. When I clicked .xls file now it just gave me info on the type of file without asking "Open with..". When I clicked .doc file it again opened showing garbled characters but now it was opening using Notepad. I, anyhow, went ahead installing OpenOffice but it had no effect on my system. All .xls, .doc and .ppt files still showed with Office 2003 icons. On clicking .xls file I still got just file info instead of it opening with OpenOffice Calc and my .doc files still show garbled characters and it still opens with Notepad instead of OpenOffice Writer. Whs wrong with my system? Is it badly infected? I used upded version of KIS 2012 rescue disk and it did not show any infection. Please help me!!

Hey, wondering if you guys could help me with . I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB card , an ASUS P8Z68V Pro mobo, Corsair AX 850 V2 psu. I have Win XP SP3 and Win 7 SP1 Ultime x64 installed in two separe hard drives. I basically use Win 7 gaming and Win XP browsing the net and downloading. My question is whether I can turn off the graphics card when i'm using Win XP while downloading over night by connecting the HDMI cable to the motherboard while removing the power cable to the graphics card. Wh is y opinion to ? Will work?

Hi all,
I have got a new assemble PC as per the digit um advice. The specs are as follows:

Processor Intel Core i3 2100
Motherboard Intel DH67VR
RAM Transcend 2gb
HDD Seage 500GB 7200.12
DVD Writer LG 22X SA DVD
PSU
Case Zebronics Bijli (with 450w PSU)
Keyboard & Mouse Logitech MK100
OS Windows 7 Ultime

First day it worked ok. Then suddenly it rebooted on it's own and stopped switching on. I opened the case and found out th the person assembling the PC connected the cpu fan to the port marked as rear fan in the mobo.So I reconnected the same to the cpu fan port with the correct color code.
Now the PC is working fine, but the cpu fan is not roting all. I have checked the BIOS, in hardware monitoring the cpu fan speed is showing 0. The OS is also not showing any error message.
Can you help me to pin the problem

Seen the lest, Samsung just announced they are refreshing the Galaxy S II.

Improvements are:
  • LTE capable
  • Bigger 4.5" screen. Still WVGA resolution :(
  • Larger btery 1850mAh btery
  • NFC on all models
  • Slight redesigned on the home button.
  • Redesigned camera and back ple (Now metal)
Its only worth the upgrade from the normal SGS2 if you needed LTE, NFC or a bigger btery. Now I wont be upgrading. But its gre new SGS2 owners, wait and get one!

Hi everyone. I have OCed in the past maybe 8 years ago, so I recall the basics of the process. Now with automic OCing possible on an i7 2600k and a P67 motherboard, I have just let it do its thing and here are the results. The board is Asus P8P67V3.

I'm not up with the times in regards to wh good temp ranges are and wh a decent OC is with setup, but 25% on the factory speed seems absolutely cray to me. The setup is housed in an Antec 600 case with a Cooler Master HYPER 212+ he sycn/fan helping it.

Just hoping someone can chime in and help me interpret the da and let me know if it looks good/safe. I ran a stress test with Prime95 a lot longer than the RealTemp test went and didn't have any artefacts or BSODs or anything occur.

is one of my old projects... A program stress testing which was my first and last tempt multithreading. Works pretty well, if configured right it manages 100% cpu load with a simple algorythm searching prime numbers. Originally written in Delphi, but i plan on rewriting it in C# if there is any interest and people are willing to help.


How to achieve 100% load
0. Run Project1.exe
1. Choose Prime
2. Select number of threads depending on cpu
3. Select stresstest
4. Type infinite in the textbox
5. Run

Now the problem is th each time I restart my phone I have to send an sms to active iMessage.

I was intended to buy 4042 inch LCD but when i saw actual image quality in HD m in showroom,i was disappointed while seeing cricket mch and movie channel,when fast moving was played.it was not realtime always some sort of delay.In comparison LED was too good.Sadly i unable to see any plasma model.
I think is all due to response time of screen.
Is there any LCD or Plasma Model available which will cch same display quality as LED?
Does plasma consume power a lot?
My budget is 43k.

Ive on 4.3.1 jailbroken some time now. My phone is acting flaky and started to tether on it's own when connected to a PC, so I am releged to AC charging. Its time to m and fresh install. I need a jailbreak, can I reinstall 4.3.1 by downloading the ipsw file and loading through itunes? Or can I get a newer version and use jailbreakme.com? I don't want to screw up cuz I know I will prolly only get one shot. Thanks!

Can anyone from TiPb do something about ? The comments section (Disqus) displays the comments beyond the length of the screen on the iPhone. I have seen many people commenting about in various s already and by now it's getting real annoying.

I know is problem is exclusive to TiPb because looking AppAdvice.com on the Safari browser on the iPhone (which is designed the same way as TiPb) no issues in their comment section.

I primarily use headphones while on my pc and over the past few days I've come to notice the volume level is degrading significantly and now with all levels maxed its around half of wh it used to be. first i came to the conclusion th maybe i finally became deaf due to my stupidity but a quick test on my H/A receiver and even my zune with the same headphones crushed th possibility so i began testing different drivers and system settings, front audio and nothing is fixing the issue. So my only thought is maybe the onboard sound is dying and i might have to give in and purce a sound card or am i missing something?

I just moved and I really don't like the area I live I have cameras on the outside of my home but I would like to find 12 cameras I can hide in my living room area th would blend in well. I would like them to be wireless and use ftp or some way to store the videos on a remote sce. I have looking around but I have not found wh I am looking as of yet. I have making new friends due to a job change and such and I have a lot of expensive things and I have noticed little things coming up missing.

I know it sounds dumb, but I cant figure out wh happened.I have a wolfdale E5200 which I had nicely OC to around 3.6 ghz via a Gigabyte EP45UD3R. run stable almost 3 years now. So silly me , took my cpu to higher ground IRene. Upon coming home, opened the case and removed the fan to clean. WHen I boot up, it went to default. which is 2.5 ghz. Ok, ths fine, ill reset the OC, but NOTHING, nothing sticks all . In fact, they all come in Under stock via cpuid. The only time it comes out default is if in bios I say load optimized defaults. I am really a loss and since I play the MWLL mod crysis, my cpu speed is really important.
Any thoughts as to wh the hell I could have possibly done wrong?

Hello, I have some problem.
I changed my graphics card and when I wanted to turn pc on it started to boost and then after like 5 sec it shuted down.
Then after several try, boosting time decreeted to 1, 2 sec.
after th I changed new graphic card to the old one, and still I got the same problem.
I reconnected all components and still nothing. I thought the power supply was the problem but, when i changed it, but nothing. so I started to search whs wrong. and finally it found out the problem is with X12V1 4pin wire. when its unplugged all fens are running but nothing works (monitor shows ''no signal'') and when I plug it back it immediely turns off.
So is my motherboard dead or smtg else ?

[Mob] Mobile Me "Loce my Phone" not working

OK so I posted on the Apple Support um but so far I've only got comedians answering.

I have an iPod Touch 4th generion th I would like to add to my iPad (WiFi) and iPhone (3gs) on MobileMe so I can keep track of it, loce it, remote wipe it, etc if it's lost. It belongs to my daughter and she will sometimes misplace it.

I had it set up and working a little while (maybe a couple weeks). Afterwards, it just stopped upding it's locion on me.com. I have tried deleting and recreing the mobile me account and I've done everything on the apple support to troubleshoot. It's all configured with push and Locion services on. I tried removing it from my mobile devices and now it won't even add itself back to the list. As a last resort, I've restored it and had no success.

Both the iPhone and iPad work flawlessly. anybody else encountered on their iPod touch and know of a way to solve it or an obscure setting I may be missing?

came as an upde on my system today. I didnt install it, But I must say im pissed. Im the person th checks all the updes glances over them and hits go. Which is partially my fault. But if it werent MSE EULA it would have installed. I dont see how is a good idea. wh if people already have an AV? why would you make something like th an upde? its only bound to cause problems

Im running a samsung galaxy s2 and when i cree a event on my phone stock calender*onto my wifes calender th i have edit and manage settings every time i enter a appoitment it crees her as a invite her to accept or decline or maybe is very annoying as they are reference only.** how do i stop and just cree events without creing the calender owner with a inviteUpde:Also when i look my caledners all my previous appointments th are over 30 days old are not showing but show on my PC i need these so th i can reference meetiings its annoying ive tried setting the phone older than it is deleting calaender sync

Hello everyone, Thought I would reach out. I am on my second ASrock Z68 Extreme 7 Gen 3 with the same issue. Called asrock they told me to return it after spending some time debugging with them on the phone. Now the second mother board the same problem. Problem: In the UDFI Bios I cannot manually change a numeric value. Example, when changing the multiplier it will only take the number 5 or sometimes 16. If I enter number 1 then number 5 appears. All pull down menus work fine. Example when I enter in a user profile to save, only letters will enter properly. If I enter a number the shift value will display, example if you enter the number 2 the # character will display. I have tried 3 different keyboards with the same result. System will boot into win7 fine, but I need bios control.

Seems like a Bios or bch problem. Anyone have issue? wh am I missing?
