Anyone else currently on TMobile hoping each and everyday we get some sort of official announcement th the next iPhone will be available to us??? I was trying to specule how they will handle their da plans. Everyone on TMobile knows th if you exceed y da cap they "slow" y speeds down to EDGE. I can see them offering an "iPhone" da plan with a 2GB cap $30 and not slowing you down afterwards. I am so sick of their crappy Android phones and want the iPhone. So hard me because I'm using a 2 year old BlackBerry 8900 with EDGE speeds. Every single Android phone I tried with TMobile had numerous issues. Anyone else currently holding out a TMobile iPhone 5?

Had recent build of the Phenom II x4 955be + asus mobo after much thought process. But CPU would not let me listen to songs/wch movies/even be in peace !!
Even stock speed with no OC, its as if F1 circuit races are being conducted inside my cabinet !

It so happened th both my LG dvd drives would not read my new botherboard and graphic card's driver CD/DVD's. They read other CD/DVD's just fine !
Tested the units in different computers but same problem there as well. Took it to the dealers shop and repliced the same. But he was able to open those discs on a new testing drive. > He convinced me th "both" the drives had weak reading lens.,. and I needed a new one..

So here i'm.. asking suggestions.. In the past, I had with Samsung and now these 2 LG drives.. All these drives developed the "drive eject issue" sooner or ler and I have to manually use a pin to bring the disc out..

Any good drives th you all can suggest me.. need one with all possible futures.. like dual layer DVD read/write, etc etc

I hav upded by iphone 4 to lest 4.3.5 and aftr every 5 to 10 min it shows a message called TGE ACCESORY OF THE IPHONE IS NT RECOGNIZED (something like )

And the secnd thing is tht the hme button of the iphone is very irr responsive

I wasn't sure exactly how to title so the title seems either dumb or confusing. Basically, I have my Gmail account set up to fetch email from other POP accounts and label them as being from those accounts when they come in. On my Gmail online, it allows me to reply to any of those POP emails from the address to which it was sent originally (so the sender doesn't see my Gmail address but instead, the address to which they sent the original email). Mail app on the iPhone doesn't do , it just sends from the one address unless you configure multiple accounts. Is there a tweak th will allow me to change the address from which I am sending OR, better yet, automically know th the email to which the message was addressed and automically use th address as the one from which I reply to the sender? I could just set up a separe email Mail account on my iPhone but then I'm stuck checking th account as well online rher than gets the benefits of having the POP account pulled by Gmail. Thanks any suggestions.

Ok so everyone knows if you load the iPad baseband you lose y warranty because you can't restore stock firmware on the device. So here's the question, how do you lose y warranty? I understand th if they can tell the device is Jailbroken then the warranty is void but if you don't apply any tweaks and put the Cydia icon in a folder then how would they be able to tell? Unless they have something th reads the baseband on the device, it's not like they would go looking through the device to see wh baseband it was running on. I'm just wondering:confused:

Sure, there's plenty of crazy speculion about iPhone 5, iPad 3, iPod touch 3G, and all th good stuff. But I read a story somewhere about Apple hiring people to work on an enhanced mapping scheme. They're going to 'rethink' how people use maps on iPhone and iPad. And th got me to thinking...

How will people use mobile computing technology in 30 years? If Apple keeps their current product naming scheme, 2041 just might bring us the iPhone 35 and the iPad 32. Here's wh I think mobile computing could be like in 2041:

iPhone sticker: Postagestamp sized communicion and entertainment device you stick to y temple. Voice and gesture actived, direct broadcast of 7.1 surround sound and 3d video into y brain. Gestures would be permed on an inbrain 3d projection th looks like it's in front of you. It's a personal device, so nobody else can see or hear wh you are seeing or hearing. It's all in y head.

iPad wch / pendant: Another tiny device you wear on y wrist or around y neck as a pendant. Projects an adjustablesized holographic cube with a 3d multitouch interface in front of the user. is sharing 3d images with others, multiplayer 3d games, automic flashlight night, etc. (And it could be an alternive oldschoolers who are still afraid of the inbrain projection technology used in iPhone sticker.)

Complete integrion of reallife and VR experiences: You will see a VR layer superimposed over y actual field of view as you walk down the street. No need to hold up a physical device with a camera. Y iPhone sticker will read the signals on y optic nerves, interpret the da, and project a VR layer of store names, directions to follow, etc. in y brain.

Complete integrion of live and online human interaction: You will walk up to y friends, y iPhone sticker will recognize them either by their iPhone sticker's ID signal or by interpreting the images on y optic nerves and using biometrics to ID people. Their most recent Facebook wall entries and tweets will appear next to them, and you'll be able to broadcast photos and videos to all of them in real time. And y iPhone sticker could look up people you don't know yet as well.

all sounds crazy, I know. But think about wh things were like 30 years ago, in 1981. If you told people in 1981 th by the year 2011 they would be using handheld devices to talk to anyone in the world from where they stand, and be able to get da from anywhere in the world, wirelessly, over a digital communicion system called The Internet, they would have though you were dangerously insane.

Okay, I downloaded beta 7 OTA (worked fine)... Then i noticed the music was playing, thinking of wh I had to do. I downloaded the lest beta of iTunes 10.5 and the actual beta 7 software and restored my iPod using those. However, it restored successy but instead of going to the regular menu when an iDevice is plugged in I get automically addressed to the screen of the restore when I have to chose new iPod or from a back up.... I've done process 4 times now. Reinstalled iTunes and even restarted my PC.... I don't know wh to do now. Suggestions?

As it used to happen bee, the GPRS setting my Carrier is not getting detected by iOS 5 beta 7. But earlier there used to be an option to define Customer APN setting Setting>General>Network>Cellular Da.

But in iOS 5 beta 7 the Cellular Da Option is missing.

Can someone help me in defining the custom APN setting as the GPRS is no longer working on my phone?

hiiiiiiiiiiii i have a hp dvd drive which was working good 5 months or so but from yesterday it had started to give some serious problems to my pc and it isn't recognizing any cds and is making some awful sounds but dvds are ok but it still takes a lot of time to read it :( Due to i have thought of replacing it with a newer one and will be going towards LG or ASUS. But i don't know which one is better. Plz do tell me

I just traded a naga mouse an E6300 based core2duo machine, and I don't like the pushpin style cooler on it. It's not stock intel, but I'm not sure wh brand/model it is. It's a 120mm hepipe cooler, but it looks cheap and is not stable. It moves just by touching it lightly. It's actually cooling pretty well and I get 30c idle temps. I haven't tested load as it no HD in it. I'm running linux off of a usb stick while testing it the moment.

I want to replace the cooler on thing, but I'm not planning on a heavy OC or anything.

I was thinking the Hyper 212+ but I wanted to know if there are any other budget coolers th can perm like it?

Is there a chart of cooling:dollar rio?

Just got back from a vacion and got a call from my next door neighbor/buddy/peer th his new computer is having some funky internet issues. Pages like Google & Youtube will load just fine (not sure about video since he yet to download Flash) but many webs do not. He can Google search anything and have results returned but most of the links he clicks on do not load.

A quick call to Verizon went something like :
Dealt with the robot 9 hs until he spammed 0
Tech support tells him to hardreset the router
Sets up new username & password
us check if it the internet works (it doesn't)
Tells us it's not a networking problem and says bye

From wh he's told me, his brother's computer having spontaneous connection drops ever since the hardreset.

It's a Verizon Westell [insert model here] modem/router. I don't know the specifics of the model but if needed I'll get it.

I just wanted some input on wh the issue could be, because I'm networkingillitere and I've always had luck here.

Summary:
A 3/768 Verizon DSL connection hardwired to 2 computers through a Verizonprovided Westell modem/router is giving one (brand new) computer connectivity issues with indefinite load times selective webs. The modem is also spontaneously dropping connection.

The 1st three characters of New Series is (500D_____) but I get the remaining 3 or 4 characters, these may be M002. The Firmware version is something like 4cjb. The Mfg. Month & Year is 07.2011 & Made in China. Price is Rs.1975/.

Please tell th:

1) Whether, New Series is Barracuda ?
2) Whether the hdd of New Series is Fine to purce?, I mean Whether, any malfunction is reported ?.

I m using Nokia E63 with Airtel past 1 yr. Today, i got a new vodafone sim. The shopkeeper got it actived and even put Rs 10 balance into it. Now in home, when i insert th vodafone sim, it shows no network,,,i inserted th sim into my bro's phone> it shows network,,even HIS working vodafone sim also doesnt show network in mine..my fone does show network of aircel and reliance,,but not of vodafone!!
I am really confused wh to do..plz help!

Loving the Anna upde on my N8 but some of the games I thought Nokia gave away summer now do not work..... i.e. Angry Birds the screen goes blank then returns to menu.

I go to my Ovi account and none of the summer gift games appear on my account in "all my stuff". (Though of cse I downloaded it all free on my account).

So did Nokia not "give" away these games. Were some time limited? i.e. fruit ninja still works (but also does not appear in "all my stuff" on my account on Ovi)

Ive never worked too much with desktops, so i generally just need to know if one of these cards will fit in desktop and which would run better. http://www.walmart.com/ip/AcerEL1352G41w/15686810 is the page the desktop, and the card is either a. A 6570 or b. a radeon 5670. Im assuming the 6570 would be better, but meh.

The computer says it 1 x PCIE, 1 x PCIE x16 gfx extension ports, and the card says 1x16 so i believe it will fit. Am i correct in the assumtion?

I have just recently bought Samsung Galaxy SII and I have a few questions or concerns if anyone could help would really apprecie it. I am living in Toronto, Canada and bought the phone from a cellphone shop and paid the shopkeeper extra unlocking the phone.
Q1.) Will my phone be locked again if i was to upde it?
Q2.) How can i upde my phones firmware to 2.3.4 without voiding warranty? or it is not possible?

Hellllloooooo......

Right, so I finally did it...... I traded my beloved BlackBerry an iPhone 4 (Yes, I know the iPhone 5 is out soon, the iPhone 4 was a free upgrade on my second contract, I'll still get an iPhone 5 in a couple months after it's release) I'm going to miss my BlackBerry but it was time a change.

I'm not a complete newbie to iPhones, lets face it most people have iPhones including my girlfriend, so I've played about with them alot.
I think I'm going to end up loving it but there a few things th are bothering me. Simple things.

First question.
When I download apps from AppStore, it sometimes asks me a my password then sometimes it doesn't. example, I just downloaded Facebook and Twitter, it didn't ask me the password where as the Amazon app did ask me. I assumed it was due Amazon having my bank details stored but some Apps don't and still require a password. Does anyone know why is?

Second.
Why oh why can I not get rid of the sms popup notificion? Best I can do is disable the preview but it still interupts wh ever I'm doing and the name of who messages me still always pops up. I like to be prive but feel my privacy is taken away. Is there a way to disable it without jailbraking the phone? is a massive deal me.

Third.
Is there a way to cree folders pictures and videos? Or are they always going to be a jumbled up mess?

Delivery reports? Where are they? I like to use them from time to time when sending an important SMS. is a simple thing th I thought all phones can do.

newest game, Jigsaw Party, is just around the corner. We'll make a announcement in due cse, but to give you a taster, it's a traditional jigsaw puzzle game, polished to usual high standards, and including a few unique feures:

There's a large online library of puzzles using all sorts of pictures, so you'll never get bored of playing the same puzzle over and over again!
You can cree y own puzzles and add them to the library!
You can play online against a friend, in realtime, both trying to complete the same puzzle the same time!

The online play is pretty amazing even if I say so myself! I don't think anyone done bee, and it's certainly the first competitive jigsaw puzzle iOS. It's gre fun!

We've already got lots of gre photos lined up ready launch, but we thought it would be fun to see wh users could do as well.

After playing each game, users have the opportunity to re the puzzle picture one to five stars. The winner will be the puzzle th the highest user ring one week after the game released.

Hi guys, I have Intel DG41RQI Motherboard which 1 PCIE slot and 2 PCI slot.
PCIE slot I Radeon 4770 HD graphics card. And as you see in pictures below fan of graphics card completely covers 1st PCI slot and leaves around 2mm gap to lowest PCI slot.

Ok, guys, I had just identified th the front sound jacks of my cabby is short circuiting the mobo(doing it quite some time) and causing the audio jack plugged in message coming up frequently without any audio jacks being connected, also removing the jack did away with the delay between pressing the power switch and the computer powering up(which was noticeable earlier), telltale signs of a short circuit(not harmful) but annoying.

Right now I am using the sound port on my keyboard, my X360 controller one too, but I need a dediced USB soundcard, Siberia any good? Anything else in mind? Budget is strict and around 1.5k max. I am using Siberia headset and if is the quality steelseries goes by then the USB soundcard can be worth it, suggestions please.

Hi,

I have an almost 5 yr old PC with core 2 duo 1.86 Ghz and Intel's p965 chipset based motherboard ( DG965RY ). I want to upgrade it to make it a midrange gaming PC.

Do I need to replace the above two. Wh I was thinking was to get some more RAM ( 4 GB least ) and add a good graphics card ( within 810k ). Will it suffice ?

I understand I will have to add a new PSU and I also want to replace my existing 17" LCD monitor with a 23" and upwards size monitor ( max 15k ).

I am a software engineer by profession would like to do some gaming on weekends. I need suggestions from you guys in order to go ward.

The price indiced in the Router Test is Rs 1699.
I inquired with a few local dealers but i have quoted between Rs 2500 to Rs 2850 :shock:

Where can i purce the aementioned router around the price mentioned in the July 2011 issue? An online store would be near to perfect!

Also, the local dealers are giving me a mere 1 year warranty on it. :shock:

I just bought my self Sapphire HD6950 2GB Dirt3 edition "A month Ago :P" 'and I wrote 20 days back and posting now rofl' [edit]
So though of wr8ing a short review ... ahh NO! I m just posting my benchmarks and OCing results.

Pre.P.S : Unboxing pics are the bottom of post.

And wh about Unlocking ? : I tried to unlock it using RBE when I first used it... but it didn't unlock & after th I have not tried to unlock it using 6970 modded bios since permance gains are negligible and Overclocking is "the" thing to get significant RAW juice out of card! :flamethrower:

And.. hell yes I have an LGA775 system so don't get the wrong impression th bottlenecks may ruin it , but then .. stock it had :P

Well first lets see wh all my rig (Yeah Toast!):
  • CPU : Intel Q6600 G0 Revision @ 2.4Ghz
  • MOBO : Asus P5Q Deluxe P45 chipset
  • RAM : 2x2GB Corsair DHX 800Mhz C4 DDR2 @ 2.1V
  • PSU : Corsair HX850 Modular PSU
  • GPU : 6950 2GB
  • RES : 1680x1050 (22")
  • Cabby : CM 690
  • Mouse : Razor Deh Adder ... yeah I overcloked my mouse too :P
  • HDD : primary WD 750GB black , WD 2TB+1.5TB+1TB+500GB green; Theres' gotta be a way to OC hdds!
    Hdds were not required to be mentioned but I cant stop my self from showingoff :P

Now, since I have an LGA775 system many frnds argued th it might bottleneck my card... and frankly I was also of the same opinion too .

So my first priority was to find th if I could elimine the bottlenck (if present) ?
led to a series of Overclocking, benchmarking and stability tests.

Section A) HD6950 2GB Dirt3 Edition Overclockability :

stock voltage the card can't be pushed much "with stability" beyond ~850Mhz after which minor voltage increments are mandory. The max Vddc card is 1.18 Volts as per Sapphires' Trixxx Overclocking Utility.

the 1st go I could easily push the card till 925Mhz / (Vram) 1370Mhz @ 1.145Volts. Any further increase in clock would make the card unstable and PC would shutdown/reboot or show BSOD. My sole objective was to push the card beyond 900Mhz since those speeds it perms same as a 6970 if not better.... it was a cakewalk to get it running stable ~925Mhz!
Having said th I guess I could possibly reach past 1000Mhz with 1.175/1.18 Volts... yet to try it... but then whs the need to take the risk of bricking my card ? when in the 1st place card is perming solid @ stock :P

A word on Temperures : The cooling was good... I mean really good if not best. Unarguably MSI 6950 2GB Twin Frozr II gives the lowest temperures and Sapphires' Dirt 3 edition stands near it...very close. The temperures stock and load when overclocked were excellent IMO.
  • When idle stock the temps hovered around 5355 deg Celsius.
  • When idle and overclocked the temps were nearly the same around 5358 deg Celsius.
  • When load and stock max temps were in range 7072 deg Celsius.
  • When load and Overclocked max temp was ~75 Deg Celsius!!!
    Which means temperures have not scaled much linearly with increase in clocks and voltages! Which is impressive!

Initially after fiddling will overclocks I settled with following profiles benchmarking which showed noticeable differences..least the 1st and last showed:
  1. STOCK : CPU @ 2.4Ghz , FSB @ 1066Mhz , Ram @ 800Mhz 55515 @ 1.8V
  2. OC1 : CPU @ 3.6 Ghz (M=9) @ vCore = 1.4V , FSB @ 1600Mhz , Ram @ 1000/1066Mhz 55515 @ 2.1V
  3. OC2 : CPU @ 3.4 Ghz (M=8) @ vCore = 1.4V , FSB @ 1700Mhz , Ram @ 1062Mhz 55515 @ 2.1V
  4. OC3 : Profile #2 (OC2) + GPU Clk @ 900Mhz @ 1.145V , VRAM Clk @ 1370Mhz

Softwares Used Sythentic Benchmarking :
  1. FurrMark
  2. TessMark
  3. Unigine
  4. CineBench
Games used RealWorld Benchmarking (All Dx11) using fraps :
  1. Crysis 2
  2. BFBC2
  3. Metro2033

Ok..now enough of BlahBlah... time results

Section B) RESULTS

#B.1) RESULTS Synthetic Benchmarks (After Warmups) :

I) FurrMark:
Well clearly shows a gain in permance when the GPU is oced and keeping in mind th FSB had nominal increase from 1600 to 1700Mhz and so the CPU which can be ignored but not completely.



II) TessMark :
TessMark too says the same story. Significant Gains were seen after Ocing the GPU.



III) Unigine Heaven DX11 Benchmark V2.5 :
Here again no signific gains from Stock to OC2 settings and little bit gain in FPS on OC3 settings.



IV) Cinebench 11.4 64bit :
1st time we see bottleneck(sortof) in action stock speeds. While OC1,2,3 having almost same permance and OC2 settings giving the max results and I m not so happy with the fact th Avg FPS reduced from 57.08 to 56.82!!! :confused: :eek:



#B.2) RESULTS Real world/Gaming Benchmarks :
I dont know about the methods used by other reviewers so did it in my own way.
Method : Benchmarking using games took nearly 4 days me coz is the 1st time I have done it systemically. Bee Starting benching I played while as warmup and if not done may give unexpected results. So to maintain consistency and accuracy I had done with all 3 games. Then I benchmarked the games 3 to 5 times 180200 secs and tried my best to play the same way as bee :P using fraps. Then averaged the da to get the final values. Also.. BTW with BCBF2 I looked the sky a while to get "the" Max FPS rofl... and hence the Max FPS are higher then expected so here we must focus on MIN and Avg FPSs. I did 4 days over n over again to get consistent , error free and accure results. Only those results were averaged which were nearly same after 45 iterions.
[Edit] : A m8 on overclock.net asked me to perm canned benchmarks 78 games using demos. He is purcing MSI 6970 and wants to compare his system stock(core i7 2700k) to my Overclocked System possibly pushed to limits to which would be an eye openers many of us :) Will post the comparisons asap! 8)
I) Crysis 2 DX11 :
Crysis 2 says the complete story concretely. Bottlenecks reducing FPS stock , then no significant gain after pumping the FSB and CPU a bit. And finally a significant improvement in FPS when HD6950 is Overclocked.



II) Btlefield : Bad Company 2 DX11 :
The min FPS comparison agree with Crysis 2 results but the MAX FPS just go on increasing monotonically.. which is kinda wired... Also some of you might think the FPS are higher then other reviews ... but its coz I had used a map which coincidentally gave higher FPSs then other maps in the whole game!


III) Metro 2033 DX11 :
Do i need to say nything here ?



Conclusion : Use ur own head here...

PS : You are free to criticize me and most welcome to consider me a noob ocing and Benching ... but my request to u'll is th : plz do it in a positive manner! :high5:

Dirt 3 ??? Whrzz it? Y didn't I include it here? > : I got Dirt3 free with card and even after installing it from Steam I was unable to get it running as it shud be. First thing to notice : "Games Windows Live" :newgun: is the crapyest thing from Microsoft I have ever seen! Coz the beginning after installing the game... it wont start and crashed each time :mad::mad::mad: coz GFWL was the Culprit. Then after installing n removing n installing like a millions times I get the game to Start ... but after th I was not able to use GFWL client and so the game became just like a demo. Codemasters ruined and messes up time!:mad: Even moment I can't play Dirt3 coz cant log into GFWL account... :mad:

I am getting a machine High End Gaming & Graphics. I have decided on following components, thanks to the "PC Buying Guide" thread.

Processor Intel Core i7 2600k
Motherboard ASUS P8Z68 V PRO
RAM Gskill Ripjaws X F312800CL9D8GBXL
HDD WDC Black 1TB SA3
DVD Writer LG 22X SA DVD
Mouse Razer Imperor
Keyboard Logitech G110

Now I need advice on following items

SSD All my programs & OS are occupying about 100 GB. Will 120 GB be enough or should I go more capacity (OCZ 2.5 SSD VTX3 25S3240G)?

CPU Cooler I am not too much into overclocking manually. I will OC only if there is a simple & safe way like a switch or software tool from the manufacturer. So, do I need after market cooler? Which one?

Graphic Card Now I have Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23inch Monitor with 1920x1080 resolution. But I will be buying 27" monitor next year. So I need suggestion on graphics card th will support games 2560x1440 resolution with effects. Thought about ASUS GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II in SLI but it does not deliver resolution except with a dsub connection. I am not sure whether a dsub will be good enough and wh benefits other (HDMI, dislay port etc.) have to offer. Again, no manual OC. Cards should be long lasting.

Also, I have heard AMD is bringing out 7xxx series soon. So should I wait th?

PSU should have enough wtage the rig & suggested graphics card. And should be stable & long lasting.

Case not a fancy one. Just enough the airflow required and easy access.

Alongside the Recon3D external audio device PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and Playstion 3, Creive announced its lest line of PCIExpress sound cards. It's curtains the XFi generion of sound cards th led Creive's pack through the second half of the last decade. Creive's newest sound card technology is called Sound Core3D. Unlike with XFi which continued the tradition of highpermance nive (hardware) audio processing by making use of RISC processors on the card such as the CA20K series, with Sound Core3D "quadcore", the focus finally shifted to the set of DSPs (digital signal processors).

The "quadcore" moniker doesn't refer to there being f processing cores on the sound card, but a set of f DSPs, not necessarily hardwareaccelered, th work to give out the best audio. Two main DSP sets include Creive CrystalVoice and THX TruStudio Pro. THX TruStudio Pro is a DSP set th we're familiar with, some modern sound cards feure it, some motherboard vendors even pack it with their onboard HD audio solutions. THX TruStudio Pro provides THX TruStudio Pro Crystalizer, which works to improve clarity of lossy compressed audio, TruStudio Pro Surround crees a virtual 360 degree surround space th is touted to be better than the countless earlier tempts by various companies, virtual surround. Smart Volume is a volume stabilizer th keeps in check abrupt volume spikes in games. Dialog Plus controls the mid frequencies to ensure the clearest voice dialog in games (cutscenes or multiplayer voice ch). Lastly, Pro Bass is a bass compension feure th works to restore lossy bass.



The CrystalVoice DSP is another DSP th improves ingame voice chter. Acoustic Echo Cancellion elimines echos and talkback. Noise Reduction works to suppress background noise, sending through only the player's voice. Smart Volume stabilizes volume. FX allows users to morph their voice to remain anonymous.

Microsoft Windows NT 6 kernel, used in opering systems since Windows Vista and Server 2008, saw a relocion of the audio stack, th effectively made hardware audio processing useless, because there's no direct access to hardware using DirectSound. There still is the thirdparty OpenAL API, but it is grely limited and doesn't keep up with the lest sound resolutions. Creive to stay competitive in the sound card industry, it to do wh its younger competitors such as ASUS, Auzentech (to an extant), and HT Omega realized long back, which is focusing on high signaltonoise rio (sound fidelity), and DSPs. Today's system processors by Intel and AMD are fast enough to process several DSP layers without impacting on system permance.

Creive's new sound cards include the Sound Blaster Sound Core3D (base model), Sound Blaster Recon3D Fal1ty Professional and Sound Blaster Recon3D Fal1ty Champion. The SB Core3D is the base model, its PCB doesn't have any fancy EMI shield. It uses a simple PCIExpress audio processor th does away with most of the RISC processor components of the CA20K series audio processors. There's a roundedsquare fancylooking object in the middle th screams "SoundCore 3D". I suspect it's an EMI shield the DAC under it. It feures common HDA frontpanel output, Fal1ty Champion frontpanel IO capability, and a commonlooking set of 7.1 channel analog jacks next to TOSLINK digital input and output connectors.

The Recon3D Fal1ty Professional ups the ante with a groovy looking EMI shield the entire PCB, a red LED lighting, and a polycarbone window. card comes with a beam microphone th helps with the CrystalVoice technology. The Recon3D Fal1ty Champion takes it a notch further with a front panel th fits into the 5.25"/3.5" exposed drivebay, and provides some connectivity such as headphone out, volume control, and DSP control.

Mariantoni's team entangled these qubit wires using a second type of wire, known as a bus, th snaked all around the chip. First they tuned bus so th it took on some of the quantum inmion in one of the qubits. Then they transferred inmion to further qubit wires, thus entangling the qubits.
Benchmark tests

The design made strides in solving calculions often used as benchmarks testing quantum computers' capabilities.

It ran a calculion known as the quantum Fier transm, which is a central component of the most famous quantum algorithm, known as Shor's. If Shor's were run on a system with enough qubits, it would allow huge numbers to be factorised quickly. I came across of console th RROD. I have fixed couple of consoles in the past doing reflow with torch new thermal paste and tightening the xclamps. But particular console th does not work. The console was opened in the past I don`t know wh is done to the console. My question is beside bad connection to GPU/CPU wh also could be the reason RROD. Could disconnected fans, disconnected/flash killed DVDROM be reason RROD. The RROD lit up after one second basically right away. I`m not 100% certain but I think th the consoles th I dealt in the past did RROD after couple seconds first green light circling than RROD. So I`m not quite sure th is problem is desoldered GPU/CPU. Any suggestions apprecied.

There is probably a lot more goodies to sell buried under the boxes, so I will post more stuff when I excave it.

First up is a case. It is green. Very Green. In fact it is so green th it frightens small children. As seen in the images below it blue lights on the front and a temperure gauge, which I did not test accuracy, but lights come on and the needle moves, when hooked up to power. The right panel is dented and scuff marks are present on the top. A hole subtracted (notice I did not say added) from the top an 80mm fan, but such a fan and corresponding grill are conspicuously missing, as also the side fan. The rear fan is also not present, but I may include one of my own 120mm fans if you ask nicely and raise y offer a couple bucks.

Ok so after careful considerion I decided to sell my iPhone 4 (Verizon) because I really want the new iPhone 5. I am very hesitant to do because there is no real evidence th we will even see a phone release year but I have someone willing to pay 400 bucks my iphone meaning I can just buy the new phone off contract and it will only really cost me like 200 bucks with the other 400 from my old phone the new one(I have to pay retail cause I'm on contract) My only cave is all of the info on the new iPhone is just speculion and rumors so I don't want to be screwed if there is no new phone released year, I guess it's a risk all in all. I have a new blackberry bold to use free in the meantime, plus my iPad 2. Anyways wh do you guys think, should I do it? The guy is supposed to meet me tomorrow to buy it but nothing is set in stone. Ah well... I hooked up my PS3 to my Dell U2311H via a HDMIDVI converter and was having some okay fun. The graphics didn't look mind blowing and infact, my PC games have better graphics (COD Ops comparison). Also, not th gre when you have y GF bugging you to let her play LOL while you are bashing y opponents head in Fight Night.

So finally, I think th instead of investing in a dual monitor setup (one ps, one my GF's LOL), it's better to get a dediced TV th.

So please suggest me a good cheap HD TV to play thy games in. Is HDready enough or a HD is a must? Saw some 32" HDready TV in reliance digital 14k but wasn't too keen on it as it seemed a little subdued by the BRAVIA's surrounding it.

My budget ain't th gre :D heh.. I was thinking somewhere around the 15K mark... I wonder how much I'll get if I sell my old 22" CRT TV...

My requirements:
  • Should be running least version 2.3.
  • Good enough hardware so th I can upgrade to Icecream Sandwich, when it is released.
  • Preferably not Samsung, I have personal bias against it, or least not Galaxy S/S2. Two of my colleagues recently bought them and I don't want to follow the herd. ;)

Are there any definitive howto guides to get SYSTEM SHOCK 2 to work on Windows 7 x64 opering systems? I knew of one Vista x64 which I wched something about on YouTube. was a few years ago.
Any suggestions or links? Haven't played game in a very long time.

[Mob] iOS 5 random restore, can't go back?

So I went to unlock my iPad, running iOS 5 beta 5, and it was the setup screen as if it just erased everything and restored itself. I was just using my iPad like five minutes bee though. So then when I tried to set it up (in hopes I could go back and restore from a back up) it wouldn't active. I then tried to restore from a backup but no luck, I get errors th the software expired. Then when I try to restore just the stock iOS 5 beta 5 software, it gives me errors (I got error 20 and error 3914 or something like th). It seems like everything I try to get back to iOS 5 just won't work. I'm running 4.3.5 right now, any suggestions on wh to do?

I am encountering a peculiar problem.

My phone recently asking me to shut down all running apps (vibres and
makes beeping noise) and then launches MTP applicion. It then displays the usb
connector and tells me to press home to exit. The phone is not even plugged in.
If I exit it starts scanning media a few times then starts asking me to close all apps
again (none are running) and launches into the MTP applicion again.
It will often launch while in my pocket and I am only aware when I check my phone.

Often after these events it also shows the btery with a lightning bolt running through it as if it were charging. Again it

My lock/power button is SO stiff th I have to press very firmly in order to even make it react. It's like there's something stuck beneh it is there any way me to safely clean it? If I took it to Verizon would they be able to, or would they just try to give me a new device instead of trying to fix it? I'd rher not have to resync and all of th again, especially since I have no idea how to transfer all of my photos, contacts, apps, etc. to a new iPhone as is my first one.

happened to anyone else? If so, how did you resolve it? My mom's had her iPhone longer than I have and hers is still springy when you press it.

Hey Every one...

So here is a question th is being asked ALOT! but which not answered yet!
mostly because the question is not asked very clearly.

HOW CAN WE MOUNT THE PHONE INTERNAL MEMORY AS A VOLUME/ DRIVE?
NOT as a directory through PC suite. (th can not be scanned da recovery.)

I have searching days and it is clear th very few people understand the actual problem of recovering da from the internal memory of a phone!
we can all manage to select a volume/ drive and hit recover in one of the countless "undelete" style recovery software packages,
but if the internal memory does not show up as a drive, we're screwed.

and NONE of my nokia phones mount their internal memory as drives. (or the sony ones th mter.)
they are only accessible through the PC suite software as directories and those are not scannable by any da recovery software.

so here's the challenge all you tech heads out there:

HOW DO WE MOUNT PHONE INTERNAL MEMORY IN ORDER TO RECOVER DA FROM IT?

I have posted question in a number of ums, but not received anything but spam so far, so:

dear da recovery company affilies control y urges!
we all know y software but its useless, unless we can answer the actual question here!!

I will cross feed any inmion I get from other places as and when availeble.

It seems th quite a lot of you guys want the iPhone 5 to have a larger screen. I've read some posts where people sted th it would not be a smart move of Apple if they kept the screen size iPhone5.
I, one think the screen size of the iPhone is perfect. I don't want a huge phone, I want one th will fit in my pocket and in the little phone sleeve in my bag.

If I want to wch a movie on a nice big screen i use my iPad, Macbook, or tv.

Greetings all.

Recently I bought a Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB (1003123SR). It seems th most people haven't had any luck unlocking the shaders on card.

However I've had success and wanted to share. isn't a complete guide, just the steps I took:

Part 1:
  1. Set the bios switch to the position th is furthest away from the crossfire connector.
  2. Made a backup of the card's bios with RBE, and named it: unmodifiedbios_1.rom
  3. Copied the backup file to the iwinflash folder, and named it: modifiedbios_shaders_1.rom
  4. Loaded modifiedbiosshaders_1.rom into RBE
  5. In RBE, selected: Additional feures
  6. Under Unlock 6950 > 6970, selected: 6970 shader count
  7. Saved the bios as: modifiedbiosshaders_2.rom

Part 2:
  1. The first few times I tried to flash the bios with RBE, it produced an error sting something to the effect th it was unable to do so (I can't remember the exact error).
  2. I read th having UAC set to its lowest setting might be needed, so I did th. Whether or not it made a difference, I don't know, as I moved to the next steps right after one.
  3. Tried flashing the bios with iwinflash (via the gui), but received the error, "Cannot Erase ROM"
  4. Theree I chose to open a Command Prompt (be sure to run it as administror).
  5. Entered (where 0 is the number of y adapter): iwinflash unlockrom 0
  6. Entered: iwinflash f p 0 modifiedbiosshaders_1.rom
  7. The flash completed successy and I was prompted to shutdown/reboot.

Part 3:
  1. Shut the computer down 30 seconds to a minute, and also flipped the power switch off (the one loced on the PSU).
  2. Turned the computer back on and booted up, ran GPUZ, and it listed my shaders as: 1536 Unified
  3. Used Sapphire Trixx to modify the "Core Clock" and "Memory Clock" settings, to 880 and 1375, respectively.
  4. Reenabled UAC to its default setting.
  5. 3 Cheers success!


My questions you all:
  1. Haven't yet modified the GPU voltage. I've read conflicting reports about wh it should be set to; some say you can leave it as, and others of cse change setting. Any suggestions?
  2. Previously, I've never cared to play around with overclocking and bios modding, but making my 6950 behave like a 6970 was too good to pass up. I've read conflicting items about modifying the core/memory/etc clock settings with RBE, but I would like to do so th I don't have to mess around with a 3rd party app. Any suggestions on topic?
