I bought card from a member on um, gre guy I might add, but I cannot get display port 2 to light. Does the second display port nively light or does it have to be actived In the Nvidia control panel. Wh I'm asking is you should be able to boot from either port and it light correct?

Does anyone ever experience when you have the auto brightness setting on th sometimes it takes the phone to adjust to the lighting or maybe you want the screen a little darker or lighter and it doesn't adjust the way you want it and you have to manually go in and change it?

I've managed to get my iPhone from 4.3.5 back to 4.1 which was my only option.


all the apps i have are fine with it except one Accelastudy Portuguese, which sods law is one of my most important apps. it says it needs 4.2.1.

is there any way of getting it to run on 4.1?

[Tech] Weird Blurring w/out MorphAA

I have an AMD Radeon 6870 from Sapphire (reference). Morphological AA is NOT on, and I'm still getting a strange blurred effect on my monitor. While gaming I don't notice the problem, but while I'm on desktop or browsing the internet, everything just seems a little muted and blurred.

I just installed card onto a Bstock EVGA X58 sli motherboard, 132BLE758RX and installed the drivers. I didn't have problem while the card was installed on my older setup (see system specs).

I've tried adjusting settings in CCC, on the monitor and with the Windows 7 monitor calibrion setting, and nothing helped. Any wisdom or insight into fixing problem is grely apprecied.

Alright guys! So I have had my new case about a week now and I have checking out modding logs which made me want to try!

Note, I only want to do maybe some simple graphics to start with. As in painting, sanding, prettying it up, ya know? So I am looking a few ideas, or help rher. Just need a few tips on wh to NOT do, and wh will make it purty. ;)

The only flaw of the card is th it's missing an original screw on the back (one of the 4 th go around the GPU). As you can see from the pic below, the screw replaced, but not by an original, so if you ever need warranty you might need to replace it with an original if you can find one.

Hi, can anybody tell me if the galaxy s2 a scrch resistant sreen ? just wondering as the guy in the phone shop done a demo of the sension with his car key and wow no scrches , wh i need to no is th he said the s2 the same sreen protection but not as good !! is true ? Thinking of getting the s2 tommorrow is a good idea as i used to own the galaxy s but wow the s2 im sure just blows the s away..

Whenever I switch on my windows 7 pro laptop the login screen's password box shows many characters or dots. No key is pressed as it automically stops after 2 seconds by which time more than 20 characters are there. It happens whether I sleep, hiberne or shut down my computer. But it does not happen when I only lock my computer. Why is happening? I scanned through my Norton Internet Security 2011 and it showed nothing. Other than th my computer is working like it always . Wh is ? A virus? Or something else? Please tell me....:?:

A: Home computing. Includes some amount of Photoshop usage.

i purced a zotac p45 series motherboard and a seage 1tb h.disk. the motherboard supports ddr3, 800&1033Mhz, but the shopkeeper gave me a kingston 2gbddr3 1333Mhz. within 15 days of purce my hard disk got corrupted and i have to send it replacement. is ram the cause of the problem or was the hard disk faulty?

Hello ppl,

Here is my temp readings of my Core i7 870 (without OC).Min temp are idle and the max temps are while gaming.



I want to get a CPU cooler and here are my options.

1.Cooler Master Hyper N620: In their web and in product details of Shopping s they havnt mentioned LGA 1156 Will it tach with LGA 1156 ?

2.Cooler Master V6 GT : Will fix in my NZXT Gamma cabinet. I am using Gskill ripjaws 2x4GB Ram.And planning on 2 more in future.

3.Cooler Master Hyper 212 + : Is enough if i plam to OC a little in future ? As of now i dont plan to OC it but may be when i am planning to move on to other processor i may OC it.And i want to be a saferside.


Budget can be upto 3.5k.initially it was 2k but i believe in good investment so i raised it to 3.5K.lso please tell me the best price each coolers.i live in bangalore.So SP road or Online shopping is my option.

hi,
i have read the first thread on help to increase btery life but i am considering purcing a new btery my sgs2 anyway.
i just wanted to make sure th the standard btery in the phone is 1650mAh?
and wh the maximum capacity btery i can purce is without having to increase the size of the back of the phone.. as i have seen an 1800mAh and the size is the same as the standard but i have also seen a 3500 mAh but quite expectedly the size of the btery is much larger and then a new case is needed to accomode it.
anyone know of any inbetween th increase btery but without having to increase the size .. thanks

  3. DIVX Playback

My budget is Rs. 4,000 or less. I was considering Onida HDR5522 OM. But salesmen said Onida's service backup isn't good. They ask me to go Philips. Kindly suggest a best Player within my budget.

On a side note, my TV a 'Digital Audio Output'. I am naive when it comes to such terms, but I would be glad to have a Player th a Digital Audio capability. Or is th reled to a Home Theer?? Oh, by the way, I have a Creive 5.1 Speaker System th is connected to my Computer. I am thinking about connecting it to the TV instead(it doesn't have digital audio capability I guess). When I start Dirt 3, it loads properly but the screen in which we have to press "Enter or Start to continue", nothing happens even after pressing enter key.... :(

is happening from last time the game got upded(about a week ago).. Wh is a possible solution to ?? I dont want to reinstall it as it will again take ages to download from steam... :(

I got a new 32gb 3GS th us running 4.3.5 fw. I want to downgrade fw 4.3.3 so I can jb the phone. I tried the Redmond pie thing with adding the line to my hosts file, but when trying to restore to the older fw, I got a 3194 message.

Th was 3:00 am, and I gave up. Anyone have a possible solution to ? I don't want to do a tethered jb. phone is new and gas never jailbroken bee, so there are no older shsh blobs.

I really am a loss over one, but I have very little skill in dealing with internet/networking jazz. I just changed out my motherboard and did a rem on Thursday night. Now I can surf wh I would consider inconsequential web s, but any of the "big ticket" s (yahoo, apple, cnet) will not load. They won't give a " page will not load" error, they will just idley think about loading indefinely. I have reset my internet options to default, messed with dang near every setting I can find th may have anything to do with security, and such, but no dice. problen occurs in both Firefox and IE9. GRRRRRRRRRR!!

have jailbroken phone using redsn0w_win_0.9.8b3 and seemsdone i think, opened cydia fine, tried to install an app, seemed to install fine but then had to reboot device(only option on screen) and iphone stuck on logo screen!! After finally managin to get pc to see iphone did restore etc but now wondering if safe to try installin another app, dnt wanna go through restore etc again or am i doing something wrong??

Hi all my dad bought me his laptop morning.He said its overheing and th maybe the fan had stopped working.Upon opening the laptop i noticed the fan was working fine.It was when i unplugged the ac adapter cable th i noticed the connection was red hot and th it had melting the plastic the end of the ac adapter cable.Any ideas on whs going wrong? i've tried leaving the btery out but the end of the cable is still getting red hot.

Odd one here. I just recently "upgraded" from 4.1 to 4.3.3 (jailbroken since last October with GP) and used RedSn0w to JB. But I don't think the JB anything to do with .

When I follow links in Safari and return, the link color goes from blue to purple ok, th works correctly. But if I refresh the page, the purple links go back to blue . . . ? is definitely a change from 4.1.

Another oddity Let's say I've got a page of followed links th are all purple. If I change from portrait to landscape (or vise versa) the purple links change back to blue!

My wife an unjailbroken iP4 on 4.2.1 and it also the link color issue.

I've Goog'ed and there are plenty of complaints of the same problem in Safari the Mac but I've not seen any posts about issue on the iPhone.

Anyone else notice ? It's really quite annoying, especially when using any search function because the phone "gets" wh links I've already viewed if the page is refreshed (which happens every time I leave and return).

I tried to open a pdf from an email the other day after upgrading to Anna, and now my N8 says unrecognised file type. After checking in the office folder it would appear th we can no longer view pdfs without king out $8 Adobe PDF professional.

Firstly why would nokia remove invaluable piece of software and secondly, how can i get it back without king out $8 something th should be there?

I've got the two 4850s, in crossfire mode.

I have my monitor connected to the main 4850 via DVI.

I also have my AV receiver connected to the main 4850 via HDMI ( audio only)

But my PC keeps on thinking th I'm tempting to run two monitors simultaneously. I's drivers picks up my AV receiver as a second monitor which is wrong I just want the audio only.

If I disable HDMI display in I's drivers I also loose the audio outputs too.

Also,

I have a headset (microphone and speakers), they use 3.5mm jacks (pink + green) how do I go about connecting them up using the 4850. Is there any way I can connect the 4850 to the front panel audio on my cause.

I went to look contacts and a few are missing !
I did change btery but th should not have caused a problem !
Only few went.
Also sometimes when i go into contacts just shows phone contacts
sometimes duplices names with facebook details sepere !!

ASUS MAXIMUMUS IV GENEZ
INTEL I7 2600K 3.3GHZ
GSKILL 4GBX2 2133 GHZ RAM
SEAGE HDD 2TB
GLACIAL TECH 950WTS
NOTUA D14 COOLER
LG E2290 LED MONITOR
Assembled 2weeks bee,from day1 to now i got problem display flickering.Display comes 2sec and vanish,even less or long time no display but system not rebooting & no error beep sound found,remote desktop and teamviewer display are not flickering.Bee fresh installion of OS i made changes from boot screen Bios,
1.Bios version upded to 0403
2.Ai overclock tuner from "auto" to "X.M.P"
3.Initial graphic adapter from "pcie" to "iGPU"
Above changes took 2Hrs due to flicker screen,helledup....Help of remote desktop i installed WIN7 64 ultime version,all drivers up to de specifically bios,display driver ect..Still the same problem.I have planed HD 6970 after 2months due to budget issue.Onboard graphic got only HDMI out in th im using Belkin High Speed HDMI which futures of 7.1Digital Surround Sound,Speed Ring : 10.2 Gbps+,4K Cinema Resolution,Refresh Re : 240Hz+....Also i got local brand of HDMI cable,tried with my 2yr old samsung TV as well LG E2290 monitor,same issue...
I monitor from remote desktop CPU & MB Temp less than 32 Degrees & i rechecked the CPU installion found there is no damage in pins or crack...Help me out guys...

After It I will do Certifice in Web Development Cse. In Web Designing Cse, I have studied HTML,CSS,Images,Links & Lists,Tables,Frames,Multimedia,JavaScript,HTML ms.:smile:
In Web Development Cse I will do C#,ASP.Net,MS SQL 2008.(th is my final decision).:blush:
I have not done any job earlier.

First iPhone from blackberry. I sync and backup to icloud daily. The recent ios5 beta 7 OTA upde bricked my phone and I had to restore from itunes with a iOS5 beta 7 file. How do I recover my pictures and videos?

They are all gone... only "restore" backup I had was along time ago, didnt know its different from sync. These files have to be somewhere on my PC or no?? I lost almost 2 months worth of pictures and videos. Anything I can do about ?


I didnt backup to iCloud about a week as my last OTA upde went flawless. I dont mind loosing a weeks worth of pictures but is kind of crazy. I know there to be a way but being a long time blackberry user I dont really know all the small details quite yet.

I recently JB'd my iPhone 4 which 4.3.5 and I'm very happy with it. However I went to use Skype the other day and it comes up with a message saying Skype won't work with a JB basically.

The message is: version of skype is not supported by a modified version of 4.3.5

anyone else experienced problem and if so, any ideas on how to get round it.

My problem is th during boot Mandriva assumes /dev/sda8 as / and takes
about a minute to resume bootstrap.
After Ubuntu install Mandriva was not booting till I edited the
grub.cfg of Ubuntu and pointed the root as /dev/sda6.
is the present partition stus. /dev/sda6 is Mandriva, /dev/sda7 is Ubuntu
Ubuntu was installed last.

I have again my Powercolor HD5450 and I have a problem: Calyst Test custom clocks fail.

However the fail is strange: Always fail the first test made after a reboot or turn on the computer. The test multicolor image appears fine without artifacts over the test. The subsequent tempts to run the test always pass. I tried OCCT and none artifacts just as my games. Anyway I am a bit worried, is a CCC bug or my video card is really defective?

i have a gigabyte amd 790 chipset board...the problem i have, when i shut if off, and then start it again with the start button,,,video card and the 1 beep does not happen...i then shut it off with the power supply by pushing the i/o button, pushing it to the o position..when the computer is off, i pull the power supply electrical cord from it, move the 0 switch to i, put the power cord on, and then start the computer, it will then beep, and i got video....but when i shut if off again, the same thing to happen to get it to boot again....

wh is causing , because i don,t have a clue

My wife and I are planning on leaving Los Angeles next year and moving to Denver, but we're considering jumping from &T to Verizon within the next few weeks when the new iPhone comes out (assuming it's released on both networks simultaneously). Anyone here live in Denver and can give any insight on how the overall reception is in the Denver area? We're thinking we'll probably end up living south of the city in the Highlands Ranch/Littleton/Centennial area, but didn't know if those were notoriously bad areas either &T or Verizon, and I'd also heard th Consumer Reports red &T's Denver coverage the worst of all cities. The Denver Post also mentioned something about a dead zone &T in downtown Denver, and I saw th people have complained th anytime there's a game Invesco or Mile High, the surrounding areas lose service because of the flood of &T phones.

&T's service here in Los Angeles is bad enough to warrant us switching now, but I didn't want to sign a twoyear contract only with Verizon only to find out a year into it th I should've stayed with &T.

The thing th confusing me is th SONY selling their Home There System with 1000 wt RMS tag and on the other hand I came to know in many reviews th Logitech Z906 are best available 5.1 speakers PC but they are only noted 500 Wts RMS .

Pls help me decide th which one will sound better as price is no issue.

Hi BagZZlash and everybody, is my first time here, I'm Juan David and I'm from colombia, please give me if i write something wrong, I'm learning english yet; I'm a crazy overclocker, it's a hobby and it results me fine in each overclock, the last days, I was looking my vga, the sapphire radeon HD 5670 with 512 mb of ram ddr5, too fast and good one only 90 dollars....

The Question is, i got an amazing oc to the memory of vga, but only works with games launched in 2008 to back, 2009 to today games doesn't work, the pc crashes and I'm sure th the vga needs more voltage, and i saw y excelent program, congrulions by the way, it's a perfect program... well is my overclock :

so I want to know how should i tune the bios with y program to allow overclock? how much voltage should I turn up? and if there any other steps th i have to keep in mind i would be delighted with you to help me out, i really want to do possible, and don't worry about the temp, i have a very good fan in front of the vga, I am not new on . ;)

Cold boot issues.

System Gigabyte GA990xaud3, powercolor 6850, g.skill ddr31866 GB kit, 500W seasonic, WD black 640gb, amd 955be

OK so my old system was basically the same, Upgraded the mobo, ram and video card.

So problem, booted ok first few times, then restarted and nothing, no beeps, no post. Cleared CMOS , got into BIOS, exited no boot.

So basically 8/10 times no beep, no boot, no post. 1/10 times, 1 beep, get BIOS screen, and no boot, 1/10, boots normally.

Trouble shooting, upded the BIOS, if anything it made it worse, tried, default bios settings, optimal settings, and fail safe settings and custom settings, all the same thing.

When it does boot it funtions normally, restart it and it goes cold boot with nothing. When it was running, I ran prime95 12 hs CPU test, everything passed.

Booted to memtest86 (not +) ran over night, said passed, however the blue memtest screen had garbled text all alover the screen.

So I think after prime 95 I can rule out the CPU? so its down to the Ram, mobo and video card the grief? I am going to try putting in my 4850 in the morning and trying th. Could the CPU still be a culprit? I tried setting teh ram manually to 1333, with a bump to 1.55V and still the same thing.
Need some serious help, getting close to teh 30 day return de.

Hey,

I've using ios 5 with no problems as long as it's in beta. I got a prompt to upde to beta 7 the other day. Clicking yes, I let it upgrade on it's own. I put it on the table and didn't t hink anything about i t.


An h ler when I came to use my phone I noticed it was stuck in a recovery loop.

I see an apple logo, then it cuts to the "plug into itunes" picture. From there, the screen goes all black with a white line running up the center.

It reboots and keeps doing until it runs out of btery.

I can't get it to communice with my computer in anyway. It just keeps doing th reboot business until it runs out of btery.I charge it up enough to get back into the boot cycle and away it goes again.

W do? =(

I'm doing a dual boot with win xp sp3 & win 7 on a recently built custom PC, running amd phenom ii x4 955 / a midrange asus motherboard / 1 TB + 0.5 TB drives / 4 gb ram.

Whenever I boot into windows xp, everything starting from accessing the control panel / system properties / installions / accessing my secondary SA HDD seems to take so much of time. Even worse, browsing with the Internet Explorer is a nightmare as the computer hangs almost 99% of the times whenever I open the browser.

On the other hand, win 7 is just as smooth as a cake, with no issues all.

Had reinstalled the OS('s) more than thrice & no change. It is not loaded with any additional softwares as such, being a new PC.

Should I take it th windows xp is too old my hardware or could there be other problems ?

ok so i have had board a lil wile now an found a problem

the setup so far is

phenom 2 x4 955 black edition [danger den mc tdx in the mail]
asus crosshair v
ocz reaper 1600mh 2x2gig
bfg 1gig gtx280
2x intel 40gb ssd.s in raid 0
1 tb sege 7200.12
sound blaster xfi xtreme music
corsair tx850

so any way the past week it bin crashing stock an i had no idea y asus told me it could be my ocz ram but i doubted th cus it would crash on my ssd.s but not a single hd
allso all my temps were fine 35c an under

so eventually i got feed up an turned up the different volts[cpu/chipset/ram/] 1 by 1 to see if any helped in small jumps like 1.200 to 1.250 or 1.3v

so nothing helped till i got to the south brige [SB]voltage going from 1.200v to 1.277v fixed everything its faster an does not BSOD anymore [sb temp still 35c range]

i allso talked to a guy my local comp shop [not the one i work ] an he sead ssd.s in raid 0 caused allot of problems ppl an when i sead chip set volts the one guy was like i gotta try th my self

so wh i gher is th 2 ssd.s in raid on stock settings will overload the SB chip set an cause BSOD or restarts [which in my case was fixed by a small volt increase] so maby other ppl ar getting the same kinda problem

Here is wh I am trying to do. When I go on vacion I take a lot of photos and I shoot in raw. I am trying to take my photos into the ipad and I can do th with the usb/sd adapter. But here is the question of the day can I then delete the bad pictures and connect a hard drive to the usb adapter and move them to the hard drive without a computer??? The galaxy tab 10.1 can do it. could be a reason me not to get the ipad. The people the Apple store said it can not be done. But I feel th the people on the ums know a lot more.

Need some help here my friend a iPhone 3G ( th I currently have to try to fix ) it is 4.2.1 bb 6.15.00 unlocked to tmobile .. Everything was working gre I even got mms to work then his sister dropped it .. Nothing looks broke not shtered etc. Except now I get a no service where my signal should be .. I tried the hard reset the airplane on and off and reset network settings .. It will lock on to tmobile a couple min or so them drop out to searching and then no service also happens with a &T sim . Sometimes I can get it back sometimes not ... I opened up the phone nothing looks broke or damaged I'm kinda a loss besides to tell him its now a iPod
And ideas ?

[Mob] Version 4.3.5 photo album syncing problem

I got an iPhone4 recently. As soon as I got it, the first thing I did was upde it to version 4.3.5

I'm trying to sync some photo albums to my phone from my laptop but it's only allowing one folder any one time and on the phone the album I've sync'd isn't actually in the named folder on my iPhone, it's just in the default folder 'photo library'

When I tempt to sync a different photo album to the iPhone, it deletes the last album I put on it and simply replaces it with the new photo album. So I can only put one photo album on my phone anyone time and it's never in the named album, it's just in photo library.

On iTunes, underneh the 'All folders' the 'selected folders' isn't highlighted so I can not select it all.

My girlfriends iPhone is still version 4.3.3 and she no problems syncing albums. Her 'selected folders' is highlighted so she can tick or untick it allowing her to choose albums.

Am I doing something wrong or anyone else experienced problem??

[Tech] My Computer Keeps Freezing

My computer spec's are under my user name those who are wondering.

Okay, so here is the problem I have having. I would be surfing the internets and all of a sudden my computer would just randomly restart itself. I tried looking into the 'Error Log' and it really didn't give me a straight answer. The only thing I can think of is th my SA cable is a little bent and I have to replace the cable with a new one. It is bent because it's stuck right in between my two GPUs and its pushing the cables down because the 2nd GPU is long in length.

So, is wh I have tried:
  1. Monitor my PSU with HW Monitor (Even though programs aren't always reliable), my 12v is 11.9 and never goes past 12.03
  2. I tested both of my RAM sticks on Windows Memory Diagnostics and they both were fine
  3. I have reinstalled my GPU driver (Yes I used Erockers Guide) and still I am getting the same results.
  4. I had made sure all my cables are tightly secured and in place (including my 6v rails)
My mother board doesn't have any scrches on it all. The only thing th is broken on my motherboard is the Ethernet Card. A screw hit a small transmitter (little chip) and th was several months ago. I've have since replaced it with a new PICE Ethernet Card.

I am assuming it to be my SA cable because some reason my Raid 0 takes some time to load games and it's takes a little time to read and write under certain tests.

If I can think of anything else, I will post it.

All help is grely apprecied.

I was opening the case cleaning the CPU fan. I didn't have a good screwdriver to remove the nut like screws so I used tweezers. In the process the tweezers accidentally damaged a very small black thing on the mainboard. It is loced under the thin plastic covering of the northbridge memory controller. Don't know wh it is. Looking closely, I found a very very small copper coil like thing, just like a spring. It is broken. :cry: . The laptop runs fine however. Wh is th thing? Is my laptop going to die in the near future? :( Please help!

[Mob] iTunes 10.5 beta problem

Hi all. Wonder if any of you can help me. I creed a jailbroken iOS 5 beta with sn0wbreeze and restored my iPhone 4 with it after having 4.2.10. It worked fine and I then restored my backup from 4.2.10. After the backup restored it started to sync and then froze. It's happened every time. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success. I've used beta 6 and 7 if iOS and iTunes. I'm on windows 7 64bit.
