I have told I can upde to 2.3.4 using Kies. I have downloaded kies and upded it to the lest version but can not see where or how to upde to 2.3.4?

I have ed various webs which advise on how to upde by rooting the phone, but I was hoping it would be more straight ward than th.

I am almost positive I am missing something simple here. I am new to Android after getting rid of my iphone.

If question asked on here bee I am sorry but i could not find it.

I bought all the required items a 2nd rig I was going to build a friend a while back, untunely either the board or the chip is fried. I'm guessing the board.

Anyway, he didn't end up needing the computer and now I've got the parts assuming it's not the chip th's fried.

So regarding board, it says 1366/xeon. Anyone know if it'd take a pair of i7 920's and if so would the ram have to mch both chips?
The price on evga's is pretty good.

Also wondering if the megahalems fit on th board.

Netflix's CEO, Reed tings, apologized mishandling a recent price increase th caused customers to fly away in droves. However, th was immediely drowned out by the decision to split the Netflix service into two, one with the odd name of Qwikster. The new streaming service will still be called Netflix and continue to have the same dediced web as the old physical media one, netflix.com. However, the DVD rental service is now branded Qwikster, which also have it's own . Crucially, both s will opere completely independently, which means separe logins and user profiles each one, causing significant inconvenience to customers.



To all intents and purposes, Qwikster will opere as a separe entity and even have it's own CEO, while being owned by parent company Netflix. all appears to be a stregy to wean customers off the old physical media service and onto the new streaming one, although it instead appears to be doing a better job aliening all its customers, who can find the kind of service they want from places like Amazon and iTunes. Once again, tings apologized the inconvenience and said:

Hello guys,

Just laid my hands on the iball slide tablet a few days. It felt awesome to hold th 7 inch screen tablet and play around with it. 56 h btery, 1GHz processor price around 1213k.

The only problems I could see was th it was running Gingerbread not Honeycomb android. Also it did not support microsim card 3g connectivity (wh a shame!) you would have to insert an additional dongle to get connectivity while you travel.

I was just wondering which would be other high permance but low priced tablets to look currently in the market? (set aside the galaxies and ipads......simply can not aft them!)

i am not sure yet if i should take a Intel Core i52500k or a Intel Core i7 2600k my ECS P67H2A board or if i should find a used one neither, ino it don't impact gaming permance th much taking an i52500k instead of i72600k i read th Guru3D's review of th.

Yesterday I started the Music player, chose albums and it only displayed 3 one '' the other blank.

I opened Kies and checked the files and there was no MP3 info there either.

Copied the files to laptop and windows could see the info. Artist, album etc etc.

Copied files back and the info was there a while but is now gone again...

I have tried Applicions > Manage Applicions > Clear Da but it made no difference!

Any ideas?

Dear Experts!

the passively cooled 6850 SCS3 it would be most desirable to undervolt. But when I change any voltage via RBE1.28, I get BSOD after reboot.
So far I found no tool to undervolt card, but TRIXX can overvolt it so it might by possible.

Is problem caused by particular card or something you already came across?

However, publisher THQ hired Crysis 2 developer Crytek to develop the sequel (Homefront 2?) which is expected to be out in 2014 PC and console plms. is perhaps unsurprising, as Crytek recently made a very impressive DX11 upgrade Crysis 2, as reported by TechPowerUp (with video) so appointment is likely to make the next Homefront visually exciting least and will do its bit to help keep up the graphics quality of games written the PC. I hadn't flashed my phone months so thought i'd upgrade from V10.1 to the lest V10.2.2. I decided to firstly use ODIN to flash v10.2 RE, then flashed V10.2.2 with the CWM. All went well and all apps are restored.

First impressions are MUCH smoother than V10.1. Faster permance in general really.

Bad points: It seems the new browser does not have the 'Darky Hacks' section anymore :(. is a bit rubbish because it used to be really handy to be able to change the user agent to 'desktop' if a ced you onto the mobile version.

I am also having problems with the standard android power widget. All of the buttons come up blank when I add it to a screen... strange.

I also thought I would finally leave the Android OS bug behind which caught up with me about once a week. But today my btery decided to drain really quickly until i rebooted the phone. The process which caused it was 'Android System' time!

Ah well. Can't win them all! Anyone else had a go with ROM?

Well we all play games in some m or the other and hence I would like to know wh genre of games do we play most.

A few points to thorn out:

1/ The object of pole is to know wh is the genre of game you cannot live without. Basically, to help you vote think on the following lines:

~An ideal gamer is someone who plays all type of games. So a "All" option will be spammed to deh. But th is not necessarily the case with everyone. From wh I have observed many people swear by a few games th they absolutely love and can't live without. So I am taking off the option "All of the above"

~Even if you like two or three genre's of games you are allowed to choose one only. Life gives you many options but you are allowed to marry only one. Something like th. No middleeast jokes here.
Even I am tearing myself apart from having to choose between the Racing and MMORPGs both of which I absolutely love.

Let me know if I have missed any genre.

~No mobile games are included in . Moreover I don't know which cegory "Angry Birds" falls into anyways. Moral: The OP is sad, is a portable gaming noob and hes mobile gaming.

I have with me the entire collection of Chip and Digit magazines right from the very first f introductory issues( priced 80 bucks , ) from April 1998 till to de ( without CD/DVD).

I have kept all these issues since the last 13 plus years purely nostalgic reasons. some unavoidable reasons I will have to part with them .

Incase anyone Nostalgic or Vintage or Archive reasons is interested in getting these magazines and if it's ok to sell them via um , I can scan the front page of each and every issue along with the required genuine details and post .

I copied a few DVDs to iTunes and some of them are boxsets (like DVD1, DVD2, DVD39). In iTunes I have all DVDs of the box in the same album but in the iTunes folder there's not an folder the album and then in it the DVDs of it but sepere folders each DVD. I find it a bit illogical. Hi folks!
My previous phone was HTC Wildfire S (stock Android 2.3.3) and I was able to receive and send MMS with da connection turned off. Simply, when I send MMS phone automically turn on da connection. Same, when somebody send MMS to me, Wildfire S automically turn on da connection and retrieve MMS.
Now I am using Samsung Galaxy S2. I have to keep da connection always on if I want to send and receive MMS. I don't want da connection to be always on because I haven't fl da plan. I tried Quick Setting app. It change APN internet and keeps da connection always on (do not modify MMS settings). way I can use MMS normaly, but my btery drain just 8 hs!
Is there any solution or back to an HTC is better me?

Just bought my phone , but have one or 2 issues,having read through these ums i would say th i have the gps slow and btery life problems.
My last phone is a HTC wildfire.
I upded through Kies the build number is GINGERBREAD.BOKG2 when i ggogled it came up as a german version,can anyone clarify? I live in the uk and bought from a uk shop (second hand). I was hoping th the Anreoid would be upded to 2.3.4 ,but whs showing on phone is 2.3.3.
If is a german phone is there a way to change it to a uk build ?? Th is if it mters. Is there a 2.3.4 upgrade? Lastly is there a way without rooting (dont know if i have the balls to tempt yet)to remove the TMOBILE branding?

Okay so the problem is th my Antech Earthwts 500w only 2x 6 pin PCIE 12V connectors and 6950 DirectCU 2 need 6 pin AND 8 pin and bright people from ASUS did only give a 2 x molex to 6 pin converter with the card so I cannot plug in my new graphics card. And yes the 500w antec should be enough I have checked.

So I have one 4 pin 12vX connector like :

,and I'm thinking about splitting it to two 2 pin 12vX so I can fill the two holes th are left empty after connecting both 6 pin connectors to the graphics card.

I couldn't find a answer anywhere th is safe to do? Thanks! :pimp:

My phone seems to have developed a bit of a glitch and I'm wondering if anybody else is suffering the same issue.

The music player on my phone got itself into the habit of simply skipping onto the next track when I've got it playing without me pressing anything.

I've also noticed th the volume isn't as loud as it once was.

Hey guise.
I'm trying to write a 3D RPG game with a friend of mine but have no clue where to start. I looked XNA but realised th there were no solid tutorials out there and so I'm pretty much stuck. *sadface* I was wondering if diving straight into C++ and designing my own game engine was a good idea (probably not), or using an open sce engine. I will probably be using a 3D modelling tool like blender or milkshape but have no idea about engines. *also sadface*

A little earlier month, MSI's PR team dished out a presention in which they claimed th Gigabyte was misleading buyers into thinking th as many as 40 of its recentlylaunched motherboards were "Ready Nive PCIe Gen.3". MSI tried to make its argument plausible by explaining wh exactly goes into making a Gen 3ready motherboard. The presention caused quite some drama in the comments. Gigabyte responded with a presention of its own, in which it counterclaimed th those making the accusions ignored some key details. Details such as "wh if the Ivy Bridge CPU is wired to the first PCIe slot (lane switches won't mter)?"



In its short presention with no more than 5 slides, Gigabyte tried to provide an explanion to its claim th most of its new motherboards are Gen 3ready. The presention begins with a diplomicsounding message on wh is the agenda of the presention, followed by a disclaimer th three of its recentlylaunched boards, Z68XUD7B3 & P67AUD7/P67AUD7B3, lack Gen 3 readiness. could be because those boards make use of a Gen 2 NVIDIA nce 200 bridge chip, even the first PCIE x16 slot is wired to th chip.

The next slide looks to m the key component of Gigabyte's rebuttal, th in motherboards with just one PCIE x16 slot, there is no switching circuitry between the CPU's PCIE rootcomplex and the slots, and so PCIE Gen 3 will work.

The following slides explain th in motherboards with more than one PCIExpress x16 slot wired to the CPU, a Gen 3 switch redirects the unused x8 PCIe lanes from the
second slot to the first card slot x16 PCIe graphics bandwidth. But then MSI already established th barring the G1.Sniper 2, none of Gigabyte's boards with more than one PCIE x16 slot Gen 3 switches.

Likewise, it explained in the following slides about how Gen 3 switches handle cases in which more than one graphics card is wired to the CPU. Again we'd like to mention th barring the G1.Sniper 2, none of Gigabyte's 40 "Ready Nive PCIe Gen.3" have Gen 3 switches.

The last slide, however, successy rebuts MSI's argument. Even in motherboards with Gen 2 switches, a Gen 3 graphics card can run in Gen 3 mode, on the first slot, albeit electrical x8 da re. Sure, it's not going to give you PCIExpress 3.0 x16, and sure, it's going to only work one graphics card, but it adequely valides Gigabyte's "Ready Nive PCIe Gen.3" claim from a purely logical point of view.

Now th Gigabyte entered the debe, the onus on Gigabyte will now be to also clarify th apart from the switching argument, all its "Ready Nive PCIe Gen.3" have Gen 3compliant electrical components, which MSI claimed Gigabyte's boards lack in slide.

Hey guys,

I'm the recent proud owner of a Nokia E7 which is simply awesome. It's replacing my beloved N8. Everything works fine as far as I can tell except when I try to run either Eternal Legacy or Dungeon Hunter 2, I get the initial Gameloft animion and even an introductory video but then itt crashes. My phone is completely unresponsive and I have to power cycle it.

I've opened a support case with Gameloft but I was wondering if anyone had similar issues to and knew how to solve it? Gamelofts response so far is just to send me a copy of the game again.

Hi all.

I was thinking of upgrading my old Pentium 4. It will be used mostly light gaming, internet, MS Office etc.

I dont want to upgrade anything else than CPU and Motherboard.

The total budget is 12k. I may extend it to 15k if really worth it.
  • As my current HDD is IDE, I would like if motherboard supports it too. If not, suggest the cheapest HDD in the specified budget(even 500GB is too much!).
  • Due to cabinet size, motherboard should be mX.
  • I am not going to add a GPU, cooler or any stuff like th.
  • I may overclock in future.. Maybe after an year or so ;)
  • Also, my monitor is nonHD.
  • I want decent onboard graphics to run lest games( lowmedium settings).
  • My PSU is CM Extreme 500W, aka "Time Bomb" but as I am not going to add a GPU, I can use it, right?
  • Support DDR2 is not really needed, I would prefer it.. :D

I use Google all of my contacts, my email, and my calendar. All of these are crucial. My question is:

You know the little email icon the bottom of the iPhone screen? Is th representive of whever email address you assign to it? Can tapping th icon go directly to my Gmail? Are the emails threaded? Because if they aren't, I will have to make an icon mobile Gmail.

Same question the calendar icon.

Also, how do I sync these? With my Pre, you register the device with y Google account, so it's automic.

Please try and explain to me like I'm five years old or something.

My netbook is a Samsung n145 and 8 months

The problem is th in some cases, the btery percentage drops suddenly from 25% to 5% approx. (the values can change) and the netbook shuts down. The btery in some cases is totally fine and lasts 6 hs or more.

I saw th the wear level was 10% but yesterday, after a charge, increased to 19%.

I've read th those symptoms are because of uncalibred control system of the btery, I've never calibred the btery, I have understand th you have to y drain it, then y charge it to get the control system proper reading, right?

Hi all, new here but I've had the Samsung Galaxy 2 since launch now. Recently came across a strange issue, it doesn't seem to affect my phone in any way but it's still pretty annoying. I have a strange wermark of a 'a...' on the top left corner of my screen.

Yesterday it was the letter 'e...' Not sure how I got it, may have a dodgy 3rd party app. I can see it flash by when I am loading a page, or when I am in my gallery or even while in camera mode. I have tached photos of it below, does anyone know wh is causing ? I would like to remove it :mad:

I have tried changing wallpapers, and looking through my files the letter icons with no luck. Anyone experienced ? AVG isn't picking up anything either.

I once owned an iPad 2 bee and had to sell because I needed money. Well I was able to buy another one tonight new. I tried to restore from a back up and got the tached error. So I tried to restore and the iPad wouldn't let me (said apple is no longer signing the version...even though it's on 4.3.5). So I erased everything from the iPad from the setting menu. I can sync everything but pics from my iPhoto library. I keep getting same error even after setting up as a new iPad 2.

I bought MSI 560GTX 2 days ago...and I am currently using my 6 month old Corsair VX550 PSU....

I was gaming 3 continuous hs yesterday and suddenly the display went blank...the PC was running fine with the system sounds being played on the background but no display...I figured the GPU might have caused it...restarted it and played COD4 and then again the same thing...but time just a few seconds after I started playing it...It is not the GFX(I suppose) as I was gaming casually bee yesterday and long hs....

I don't think it's overheing as the GPu 2 fans...and they are almost silent...

Can it be because of the PSU not being able to suffice GFX's power requirements load...
I checked the thread of GPU and PSU table..and I don't think my PSU is not capable...

I just noticed a difference in my displays. The Samsung shows up a digital but the Benq projector doesn't. Does mean the Benq is not running a digital picture? I have the Benq projector connected to a 1.8 metre HDMI cable and a 5 metre DVI cable.

Starting morning my pc started shutting down random. I've seen caused by a lot of things in the past like ram and bad connections. I've checked those.... so I keep coming back to the psu... but it just seems hard to believe. The HX 850 is a solid psu and if it was defective you'd think it would have so from the beginning. Yet it seems to shutdown faster with load, but not instantly. It can go a few minutes over 500 wts, more than twice the idle load. If it shuts down idle and it's the psu you'd expect it to go out instantly under load right? To just start failing now seems odd. Voltage regulion checks out too least according to aida. Anyone have any other ideas or should I just order a new unit?

I just got a toshiba Sellite laptop with a AMD A6 APU with a HD6520G GPU. I wiped the systme clean and reinstalled windows because of all the toshiba bloware. Now i am trying to install drivers back and I went to AMD.com and go the Embedded Grpahics driver the G series on there and it still says my GPU is still not installed in the device manager. it should says HD6520G but it says under display adapters Generic Acceleror or something like th. The driver i did download is the calyst FUsion Engine control program which i though the GPU would be part of th too, but i only see CPU stuff in the program.

i don't know why my gtx 560 ti hawk is too loud, so i want to switch to evga sc (not ds version), and asus 900 mhz. anyone experience with the noise of those 2. i want quite. my hawk idle 39, fan 40%, but in game it hit 100%, tried to lock 60%, but the card hits 100 degree if do th, so have to put auto; theree, it hits 100% fan speed ( >4000rpm). my case is HP OEM desktop, so not good airflow. asus or evga, who the best acoustic

I have done several times over the years and have XP installs going back to 2005, but with very different hardware from when I started:D. I have quite successful , but I may have caused my own problems as well.

Wh I'm trying to do: Move the XP install th I have from my old computer to my new one and be able to dual boot with Windows 7. The XP install on the new system will be there in case any of the old games th I play won't work on 7.

How I normally do , but I didn't do all of it time and th may be my problem: I normally start by uninstalling any system drivers th I can bee starting the XP install. time I just started the install and now I have a computer th a screwed up OpenGL and will not upde. Furmark will not run and GLview(OpenGL Extensions Viewer) shows th the system is running OpenGL 1.1 and does not change with installing/uninstalling/reinstalling the GPU drivers.

I'm about ready to start over, but I'm looking to see if anyone any ideas bee I take th step. Also, I tried to switch m IDE to AHCI.

Does anyone know if I can switch to AHCI while doing ? I don't remember if XP gives the opportunity to install the "F6" driver like a straight install does. I have found someone who a reg file to use to insert the driver after windows is installed. I tried and it did not seem to work, but I'm wondering how screwed up the install was by th point.

If I restart , should I:
  1. uninstall the system drivers
  2. Follow the AHCI directions above
  3. start the XP install
  4. ???

System I'm upgrading from: Asus A8RMVP, FX60 with a GTX460, 2GB, 1TB HDD
System I'm upgrading to: ASUS P7P55DE Pro LGA 1156, i5650, same GTX460, 4GB (32 bit limited), same 1TB HDD

I do trust the hardware. I Folded with it 4.2GHz and it was 24/7 stable. It's now default speeds.

i just put together a system about 2 weeks ago,and am looking to upgrade the stock intel cpu cooler th came with i5k chip im using,i dont know whether to go cheaper end liquid cooling ,or upper end air cooling,

i have around 100$ au to spend thereabouts,and am leaning towards air cooling as it may be the simplest way to do the job,

I apologize if is a duplice thread, but my search didn't bring up past discussions. I'm syncing my contact to an Exchange server. Outlook 2010 automically crees "suggested contacts" everyone th a user sends email too. I dont want these suggested contacts to sync to the iPhone I've turned off the Outlook option to make the Suggsted Contact look like an address book. is the suggested procedure stopping sync. However new suggested contacts still sync. Does anyone have a working suggestion?

The evidence continues to pile up th Sprint will be the next carrier to offer the iPhone in the U.S. Untunely some of the provider's better customer service policies are getting the ax because of it.

Sprint announced on its blog today th they would be discontinuing their Premier upgrade plan. The plan allowed customers to upgrade their phones every year. In the post Sprint played its best PR card in trying to justify its decision to nix the program.

As soon as the iPhone 5 touches down in South Korea Apple is going to be met with a swh of lawsuits from Samsung according to a report by the Korea Times.
