Hii all..

I have HTC Hero mobile phone. I want to buy a bluetooth stereo headphone it th allows me to make/receive calls and listen music from my phone.. Budget range is below 5000. It must be A2DP profile compible (I know you know it but just mentioned :))) and sound quality should be good.

Also on a side note. Which one is better choice, a bluetooth stereo headset of a wireless headphone (one th comes with a headphone and a sepere transmitter th must be plugged into the audio output jack) ?

My main purpose is to listen music without the sle of any cords. Can you please help me out ?? :)

any ram which is not in the motherboard company memory support list, is any chance of problem?
i have g41 mt s2p gigabyte,and ram cmv4gx3m1a1333c9 4gb ddr3 Corsair, and after 2 days of my new motherboard and ram.i faced ram problem like not booting and restart startup bee bios screen, and sometime work good after restart,(gigabyte local service people checked my board and they found the ram is the reason)
i have checked my board with diff. 2gb ddr3 1333 ram it work gre every time,is my ram damaged after 2 days ?(because it is not in the memory support list also),and is my mother board support 4gb corsair ram ?(because it runs gre with local 2gb 1333 ddr3 ram)but not with corsair after 2 days (my ram model) is it just because my corsair ram is 4gb?or its not supporting with my board?
and info i already send my corsair ram RMA >>

When I start Steam it comes up normally then when I go to start a game it checks Steam game updes & it waits & waits until the cancel button comes up. It also says a lot of my games are not installed when they are. Any suggestions?

those of you testing the new ios5, does is run smoothly on the iphone 4? is there any lag all since the 4 is 512 ram and the ios5 will probably be on the new iphone 5 th will most likely be 1ghz ??

Just want to make sure the ios5 will run really well on the 4 bee loading it , dont want my 4 to slow down alot with it.

Hey all I am an engineering student, buying my 1st lappy and I want to go macbook pro 13 inch.
But I am having a hard time finding certified dealers in New Delhi. I don't want to buy from ezone , croma etc . Can any one please tell me is there any factory outlet or some authorized dealer in New Delhi as the mac book available ezone and croma are out ded and still run on snow leopard and I don't want to waste money by buying snow leopard and then upgrading it to lion so I am asking an authorized dealer or factory outlet from where I can buy the new macbook.
And also one very important thing is there a difference in the cost of mac in India and abroad ? (Inclusive of tax)

Samsung Galaxy fit, my fher's lest purce was with unboxing and about an h after th so I decided to give it a "minireview".
Cost: Rs. 10,000
Display: QVGA, 8.41cm TFT LCD
Camera: 5MP


The box
The box is little long than others.

On cutting seal and opening flap/cover, phone is revealed, packed in plastic.


After removing the cardboard under the phone, the accessories are revealed.




A 2GB microSD card with microSDtoSD adapter.. ths something new I have seen to come with a mobile..


The earphones, pouch/cover and regular manuals.


The btery was "hidden" in side of box.. :D, but it was not difficult to pull out the btery.


The da cable and charger on other side of box.

The plastic laminions on phone are not of good quality.. I was trying to remove back cover of the phone when the plastic of back got removed completely and front plastic started to get off! Although these plastics are not of much use, but I like to keep them on the phone least 1 day after purce ;)


The Optimus one is little thinner than one.

The ptern on back side(btery cover) of the device is very nice:


I also like the way USB port is revealed. The cover slides out instead of popping out, which is how micro SD slot is revealed..


The phone one physical button and two touchpad buttons:




There's no backlight buttons, but the touch is very responsive!


The app tray shows applicions in different screens..


Another good point is th the phone swype installed, but there is no default android keyboard.. but who uses it, there are lot of keyboards in market ;)


The phone can have upto 7 home screens:


To test the sound quality, I had no song in the phone so I decided to run FM:

I first connected my HD 408 with these phones, but the quality was not good. The sound quality here was 5/10, whereas on O1 sound quality is 7/10.

The FM app automically detects the name of FM and the song playing.. but its not always correct...


It an autorotion option on task tray, which when disabled locks view in portrait mode.


The device is very fingerprint friendly, but a nice screen gaurd can help in ..

The earphones looks nice..

It also comes with different connectors.. or whever they are called :P


But these only "look" nice, when I listened to FM using , the voice was even crappier than earlier! time its 4/10!

The speaker is also loced in rear, which makes the sound from speakers really low.. To listen songs volume, you will need to keep it with screen side below, which can harm the screen..



It takes really much time to power on the phone, but turns off really fast. Also, the phone is loaded with some nice applicions like a file manager and a quick office. I was about to post pics taken from its camera, and I even transferred the images to laptop using Bluetooth but it looked very slow and after a minute showed th file successy sent, but I did not receive any file on laptop.. :| I didn't try to send the file again, my oneh time was over so will try some other day.. :D

Conclusion:
is a nice phone, which lacks in some feures like sound. is a nice phone people going to use it nonmultimedia purposes like making calls(didn't test it), texting etc. those who want to play games, listen to songs, wch movies and do all things mentioned Galaxy fit, then under 10k Optimus one is much better.., but O1 lacks a nice camera and btery life.. so its almost a tie ;)

Hey all.

Ok, so I've got Creive (or Cambridge Soundworks) DTT3500 surround system, I bought it a flea market a couple of years ago and it's working fine until some time ago. Now the output rear right is incredibly low. It does not mter how I turn the controls or mix the sound in Windows, the output there is much lower than the rest of the system.

I did take the unit apart and have looked defects but have not spotted anything. I have verified th it is indeed the output and not the speakers th is the problem. It also doesn't mter which input I have, digital, analouge or anything and I've tried different cables anything, and tried it different computers and sound cards. Still incredibly low sound from th one specific output.

Any ideas?

And oddly enough, includes their locked CPUs as well, which raises the question of why lock them all? Bittech looked into overclocking the new LGA2011 Sandy Bridge E in detail.
Intel highlights the key areas overclocking Sandy Bridge E processors, and gives a practical example of a 4.74 GHz overclock


Here are the basics:

Locked CPUs can be overclocked too
SBE more flexible base clock overclocking, using two dividers, 1.25x & 1.66x
You need to play with Turbo Boost to prevent power limiting from throttling the system back
There's some scary mhs to work out, example: 1) 5,000 ÷ 1.66 = 3,012 2) 3,012 ÷ 100 = 30.012 3) 3,012 ÷ 30 = 100.4 system clock. Likely a spreadsheet would help here.

I was having shutdown problems my PC these days due to poor APC 650VA UPS.The btery never sensed correctly and autoshutdown failed miserably.Today it started to show problem, PC is not booting, even the bios screen doesnt come up but the cpu fan is running in speed.I opened it and tried connecting and disconnecting different HDD's then i removed my graphic card also tried changing ram sticks.Sometimes I get boot screen but after I enter bios setup, it will be turned off with in a minute.Sometimes windows is started but it will be turned off after the desktop is appeared.There wont be any display when I press cpu power button and the fan will be running in speed.In condition the ced shutdown by pressing cpu power button will not work.I dont have any clue about problem.Could it be PSU's problem? occurred after improper shutdowns but I thought it causes only HDD damage, but seems like a different problem.

Please help me out guys..

I want a Camera which 5x Optical Zoom and 10 MP Sensor. My Budget is Rs.5000
I have considered Nikon L23 because it 5x zoom unbeable price. But picture quality is a concern so I am thinking Nokia N8 which will give me both service as a phone and digicam.
Wh is the better option the moment i am not interested in SLR or Highend P&S camera. But ler in future i will buy one. So wh is better now.

So my brother wakes me up morning telling me th he cant get online. He said th his network changed from a Home network to an unidentifiable public network and he cant get on the internet. So I turn on my computer and lo and behold mine did the same, but I had internet and once my computer was on, he had internet too. I haven't done anything to make Windows think th I wasn't on a Home network.

Then out of the blue (again), Windows decides to correct itself and put it back on a Home network the both of us.

Does anyone know why something like happened? Windows apparently a mind of its own.

After having an Altec Lansing AVS500 speaker set fail on me wh was probably 8+ years of use, I purced a Logitech X540 5.1 setup.

While testing them I noticed th when the volume knob is set a certain level (decibel), something strange happens. I wouldn't know the technical term it, but it's a sort of low echo. example, in A Perfect Circle's "Emotive", the sound is very prominent in the beginning with the slow playing of the guitar. is just one example, as it is possible to replice the issue with other songs.

Something else I noticed is th the music is playing through all 5 speakers, though I'm certain the sce is stereo (is not most music?) and the "Mrix Mode" LED is not lit leading one to believe it is not on.

I just got in the mail my brand new Asrock Fal1ty 990fx Mobil and installed it last night. Everything works fine expect I can't connect to the internet.

I'vs tried going into network and sharing and setting up the connection there by putting in the username and password router, which is wh I usually do. And I even have the Realtek Ethernet driver win7 installed too.

So I upgraded an old computer with

ASRock H61MVS LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro X Intel ...
Intel Celeron G530 Sandy Bridge 2.4GHz 2 x 256KB L...

About a half h into upding windows the screen turns gray with lots of lines running through it like stic. I did a hard reset and then during boot the screen turned pink. I thought maybe the GPU was overheing so I double checked the hesink. Today it crashed again only time I got a 'frequency out of range' message on the monitor. I replaced the monitor with mine and the same message.

I'm guessing I need to return the motherboard but does anyone have any ideas?

Hello all,

About 6 months ago, I actived restrictions on my iPhone (I wanted to limit in app purcing I didn't want to end up accidentally buying $100 of some useless in app "premium" currency). Well now I wanted to take the restriction off and I can't remember my password the life of me. I've read on other ums th you have to restore y phone (like new) to wipe out the passwords. My question is, if I do th and try to restore, won't it add the password on again? I can't afd to lose all of my contacts and da on my phone. Any help with is apprecied!

I went to reinstall the Facebook app morning. When I clicked install the app store didn't ask my password and now there is a gray box where the app would be and it is stuck on "waiting". I did a soft reset, closed all apps and it is still there. Any suggestions?

My computer never anything other than loud, but after having mine near silent is unbearable. I just get get a constant hum of fans and a metallic coiling sound. Could it be the cm stock fans? I have one apeva fan but it's under volted and is simply there col.. It may be the PSU, is there anything I could do about th other than sending it back?

Only today I have noticed th when someone calls me the phone does not ring nor does it vibre.

All Ringer volume settings are set to maximum volume and vibre in on but still the phone does not ring.

I have noticed th the moment an incoming call comes in, the mute icon (speaker icon with x in front of it) flashes on a fraction of a second bee disappearing again and the phone vibres a fraction of a second as well. It is as if all the settings are correct but the second a call comes in something launches and switches the volume to mute and switches off vibre but not quickly enough to prevent a fraction of a second of vibre and the mute icon appearing only a fraction of a second as well.

I have tried a system restore from by Titanium Backup but the problem still exists. Can anyone help please?

CPU: Core i5 2500k
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws 2133Mhz CL11 (maybe CL10 with some tweaking)
Storage: 120GB Agility 3 SDD + 2TB Seage Barracuda Green

I have seen some good feedback from Vortez on the mobo.

But... some friends say the Agility 3 had some issues awhile ago and i remember reading something about the new SF controller problems. Should i get drive? :confused:

The bets are off, it looks like Intel is in a pricepermance shock with AMD's Bulldozer, after all. In the press deck of AMD FX Processor series leaked by DonanimHaber ahead of its launch, AMD claims huge permance leads over Intel. To sum it up, AMD claims th its AMD FX 8150 processor is looking Intel's Core i7980X in the eye in game tests, even edging past it in some DirectX 11 titles.

It is perming on par with the Core i72600K in several popular CPU benchmarks such as WinRAR 4, X.264 pass 2, Handbrake, 7Zip, POV Ray 3.7, ABBYY OCR, wPrime 32M, and Bibble 5.0. AMD FX 8150 is claimed to be genuinely benefiting from the FMA4 instruction set th Sandy Bridge lacks, in the OCL Permance Mandelbrot test, the FX 8150 outperms the i72600K by as much as 70%. Lastly, the pricing of the FX 8150 is confirmed to be around the $250 mark. Given , and the fact th the Core i72600K is priced about $70 higher, Intel is in a pricepermance shock.

Hello,

I'm having problem lely with the CPU temp (not the cores, these temps are reported correctly and are into the low 40s on idle), it's most of the times detected as low as 15 degrees (Celsius). I did not made any changes I can remember other than replacing a faulty HDD with new SSD/HDD (but I cannot guarantee was the start of the problem). It just started to happen (I have AIDA64 OSD running).
Important mention: the CPU sensor is not stuck when it indices low temps, the temps go up on load, but they're 15C or so lower than normal.

is bothering me because I use a Freezer PWM cooler set on Turbo on BIOS. The fan needs to go as high as 25002800 rpm to keep the CPU cool when it needed to work on the hot ambient here, but now, because the low CPU temp is detected, the fan sits lazily 1100 rpm and the cores go up to 65C (tested with IntelBurner). Wh's even more annoying, is th sometimes the correct CPU was reported after a reboot ( is not happening any more the temps are wrong good it seems) and the fan immediely starts working correctly again, but it never lasts. Everything on the motherboard is correctly seed with Arctic MX3. I did a fresh reseing the Arctic cooler, but it did not help.

Additional problems I have noticed: the CHA fan is no longer detected, albeit it's working OK. A wrong DRAM reading appeared out of nowhere during my tempts to repair issue, detecting a 2.02 V incorrect, as the RAM sticks are working 1.8 V.

I have also tried reflashing the BIOS to older versions, resetting CMOS, overclocking the CPU up to 3.5 GHz, everything in an tempt to get the sensor IC unstuck, but none worked.
Speedfan is not a possible resolution I cannot control the fan on my MB with it.

Is there any way I can "reset" the sensor to its mer, correct behavi? Please help, I'm getting despere here, as the only way I can tackle more demanding tasks other than browsing is to disable the QFAN BIOS option and let the fan always work 2700 rpm it's like having a blowdryer in y ears all the time.

I just installed a swiftech WB on my 6970. Initially everything looked fine until I fired up a game and got a black screen. I figured it was a overheing problem so I tried to reboot but got no display. I plugged in a old pci card I had and booted up. Windows is reading the 6970 but I cant get a display. Can the card be dead even if Windows and GPUZ are acknowledging it ?

Hi there,

I'm looking to clear something up regarding my loop. I have a 18w DDC pump (XSPC Res Top) th the blue coled impeller, I have running my loop a few weeks now with no apparent problems (temps are fine: CPU idle (920) @ mid 30's, GPU idle (580) @ 28/29/30°c. CPU load after 8hrs of P95/20 x linx doesn't exceed mid to high 50's, the GPU n't seen more than mid 40's after a few hrs of gaming.

The problem is th now the impeller no longer seems to be blue, it seems to have gone a nice brown col a bit like ciggarette tar. The thing is th the fluid (distilled) is still crystal clear, so I am unsure as to whether I am suffering from some sort of algae build up or not? As I say, the wer is clear and there are no iegn objects in there as far as I can see (I have s a while and wched to see if anything passes through the res (rock 'n' roll, me)

Does anyone have any idea as to wh the problem may be? Is it algae or does the impeller discol after a while? (I'm guessing not)

And there was the same Bios on the BiosRom.

Now i have Flashed them to get more power my system.

And now they have different Flashtypes...

Hi guys, I've recently installed a new hesink on my Intel Core i7 2600k overclocking purposes. After reading many reviews, I chose the noctua U12P SE2.

After installing it, I ran a few tests, and these are the results:

Temperure of the room: about 22° C
Temperure of the cores measured with aida64 + core temp. Stress test permed by aida64.
System on a table (out of the case).

Cores stay between 27 and 32 °C while idling @ 0.996V Vcore (energy saving feures enabled, cpu running @ 1.5 GHz).

100% Load Temps
Test stock speed turbo mode (3.5 GHz): 4854 °C @ 1.224V Vcore
Test 4.0 GHz: 5461 °C @ 1.296V Vcore
Test 4.4 GHz: 5765 °C @ 1.296V Vcore

Wh do you think about these temps? Do they seem a bit too high my chip? Is the cooler working properly? (I reseed it more times, but the results are the same)
I've measured the temp of the base of the hesink and it stays 27°C while idling. It raises up 31°C when cpu is 100% loaded.

I know there is EAH6970 DCII bios in VGA BIOS collection, but it is from bios switch position 1. I need bios from switch position 2, because I need duallink DVI.

I would mod my EAH6950 DCII with th. Both bioses in card is writeable. (tested)

Currently I have 6950 bios with shaders opened (switch 2 position) , but I can't get my card stable 6970 clockspeeds with 1.1V. Asus smartdoctor makes Windows unstable and Afterburner won't change voltage.

I have the dreaded echo when I'm using the phone and would like to know if there is a permanent way of turning off Noise Reduction as is the only way I can get rid of it. As I already have a hearing impediment the echo is extremely annoying and having to turn off NR everytime the phone is used strikes me as ridiculous such an expensive and otherwise marvellous piece of kit; its also a silly inconvenience.

Any hacks th will turn off NR or any chance Samsung will cure in a software upde?

Hey guys, I just thought of something. We all know Minecraft, and the creive mode? Have a large list of items just a click away in unlimited quantities to put anywhere.

Well, th could be made even better, with Cry Engine Sandbox. Don't you guys think? Just a click of a button and u have all the items there, y pleasure to use, instead of having to look through countless names and files. Heck, why not even minecraft with the Cry Engine!? Imagine all the fun, just placing down things physics, or placing down wer and looking how it reacts in the gre engine.

Hi guys is my first post here.

I just finished assembling my new PC as per configurion:

CPU AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
Motherboard ASRock M3A770DE

I have not connected any monitor, keyboard or mouse. I turned the unit on, and all the LEDs blinked a split second, and then it turned off completely. I tried it with a different power cord, and then the same thing happened just one flash of LEDs and then it turned off again.

Any ideas where is the problem? Thanks.

Hi everyone,

I am going to upgrade my 86ooGT to HD6770 which is currently in my budget around 6.5K

My specs are

Hp compaq 8100 elite cmt pc

CPU i3 550 @3.2ghz
RAM 2*2GB DDR3 SDRAM 1333Mhz
Hp mobo and 3 HD's 500,320,120GB's

My PSU is 320 wt ( 80+ gold red )


the problem is there is no 6pin power connector(extra) with it..My PSU only 3 cables.
1)4 pin X power cable
2)6 pin PCI Express power cable
3)6 pin auxiliary power cable

All these cables are connected to the motherboard..and every other component seems to be getting the power from motherboard..not directly from the PSU...my Sa power cables are connected to the Mobo..!! which is really unorthodox..

i still have 2 sa cables free so i want to ask u th can i connect the 6pin connector(which i will get with 6770) to these SA Power cable..??

i know the other end of the 6pin cable will be a 4 pin peripheral power cable which i will need to convert with another cable in order to connect it with my SA PC's


is really confusing u all i know but plz do try to help me here... if u want i'll upload my mobo pic with proper connections so th u can understand easily all confused info..

[Tech] New build will not power on correctly

I just completed my first custom build and when I power it on it will run a few seconds somewhere from 520 and then shut off temporarily then restart, I have tried removing the ram, using only 1 stick or many combinions of th however only using ram slots 3 and 4 since my cpu cooler blocks the first two ram slots. I have tried using both graphics cards the same time and only one a time, please give me any advice, the standard troubleshooting isnt helping me any :(

I'm trying out SuperCache 5 x64, and am finding it does indeed increase cache hits. I'm finding with 6gbs ram, I usually have least several gigs worth doing nothing. With app I can alloce dediced cache ram to which ever drive I want. I set some my os drive, and then some which ever game drive I'm going to run a game off. It does indeed speed things up. My computer on my signure won't post up when booted to the monitor. No signal. I reset bio and reseed CMOS btery.
The fan on the processor runs and no beeps or lights. I tried the Nvidia GPU I put in it, then took it out and
tried to use onboard. is a HP pavilian a1700n board. The processor is new. A hlon 64x2 5600. Any tricks to try ?

I'm jailbroken on 4.3.3, &T iPhone 4 16 GB. I think my phone is slowing down a bit. It takes 34 seconds to open biteSMS and about 5 seconds to open the camera. is with all background apps closed. Is normal?

I don't have much installed. Just a few tweaks. Winterboard is only used my red button UI theme and my Super Mario text tones.

So today I went to download app th was free and when it showed up on my screen to begin to download it says "loading" then then the app disappears and won't download. I also had some apps i had to upde and then when they began to download then stopped and didn't y download. I tried it again and it worked and they downloaded the updes. Anyways wh is going on and why won't free app download th I'm trying to get. It's a movie app

Hey all!

Long time member of Crackberry and Android Central however is my very first post here! I, like many of you, are piently (yeah, right!) awaiting the iPhone 5 release to jump ship from my Incredible.

My organizion is part of Apple's repair program. Theree we have regular upde notices on products in regards ot the back end (training merial, etc). Just a few short hs ago, I received a notice from Apple th their GSX portal will be receiving a "Major" upde. Some cosmetic, other in regards to functionality.

However, upde is scheduled to cutover on Monday, October 3rd, the day bee the rumored Keynote of new product launches. While it's very possible th they can be completely separe entities, I'm pretty sure we can pretty much confirm th October 4th will be the day an announcement is made.

Hello guys, im having an issue with my 4 GPU, it stays on idle mode and wont increase its frequencies in gpu stress tests while others do

The configurion is:
Radeon HD6990
VV
Radeon HD6970
VV
Radeon HD6970 4th core


I have installed the 11.8 drivers clean with no problems, MSI AB doesn't show me the frequencies of neither of the GPU cores
