Changes happen because roaming agreements with other companies change, or infrastructures change on roaming partner networks or Verizon's own network and system ID numbers get changed, making PRL changes necessary.

Is any body familiar with program?
I am running into a major problem th I am so desperely wanting to fix!

If there is any body out there in um, please, I need Y HELP!


PROBLEM:

I have using the Xsplit program quite a long time now, streaming live mches of League of Legends.
However, just recently, it nonresponsive and crashes during broadcast. happens every 10 to 15 minutes of broadcasting.

After 10 to 15 minutes, Xsplit would suddenly crash and stop responding (my screeen region, within my viewpoint, becomes plain WHITE).

When happens, streaming as stopped and the program is nonresponsive. I would have to enter the task manager to end the task or close the program.

I have posted in several other webs and ums, but still, not getting a reply, or any solid solutions.

[Tech] Windows 7 File Sharing between computers, PROBLEMS!!

I'm an absolute loss here. I cannot seem to get very good file transfer speeds no mter wh I do. I could really use some help. I'll supply info on wh i'm trying to do and wh i have hardware wise, but i can't get a music file to open in under a minute! Videos are over 5, and still jump, they don't flow...Any help would be nice.

I'm running 3 computers on a network

1st, the computer hardware:

1. HTPC with Asrock a75m & a83850 using onboard wired ethernet connection & crossfire with asus 6670 video card. 8gb ram, always on, running windows 7 professional, and a 64gb crucial ssd.

2. Main rig:
gigabyte ga890fxaud5 motherboard
1090T @4.3 with H100 cooler
16gb ram (1366mhz)
75gb WD Raptor
Killer NIC 2100 wired networking card (other 2 onboard cards disabled in bios)
running windows 7 ultime & SLI (with hack) 250GTS MSI cards.

3. Laptop:
Dell studio laptop 1747

Networking hardware:

DGL4500 router.
Motorola SB6120 cable modem
C 6 cables going from modem to router, router to main rig, and router to 10/100/1000 switch th splits into HTPC and Xbox 360 with c 6 cables as well.
Laptop uses Wireless G. Router broadcasts mix of A/B/G no N.

I've tried using Homegroup and i'm able to setup and share files. I've used just the "sharing" feure of files/folders and i can share files. But i don't get ANY good speeds out of it.

My end goal. I want to make my HTPC the center of my household, with 9TB of storage when i'm done, and i want to be able to access files (.iso's/mpg's/jpeg's/mp3's/etc) from th computer on a TV directly, and wired through my network on my main rig so i don't have to worry about space problems on my main rig with all those hard drives. i also want to be able to access them from my laptop.

right now the access times are HUGE! i'm not sure how to measure the transfer speeds, but a 500mb file took 7 minutes to open into windows media player classic, and then skipped every 2 seconds to buffer.

Is my end goal achievable? is my first time trying to network my goodies, so i'm not positive if i can do it or not, but i think i can, and would accept any help wh so ever to get it done. Hardware of Software recommendions are accepted as well if you think i need upgrades.

Please Help!

is important since the preinstalled iPhone SMS/Texting app, Messages, doesn't support texting to 911. 911 texts go nowhere! In fact, Advanced 911 is the only app available to do !

If a 911 center isn't available, it helps me send a message to a friend with my locion asking them to get me help. The app provides a button on the app's home screen to call 911.

hi guys i am looking headphones under 1k i look ward in ears or most probably over ear headphones(haven't tried them yet but people say they are uncomtable when used a long stretch) i own a pair of skull candy JIB but i was not so happy with the sound quality of it they sounded similar to Samsung inear headphones which i got with my dads mobile(champ duos :() i m abit of ruff and tuff user headphone and they are there in my pocket all times and mostly the time the pin ending of the earphones gets screwed up :P can some one tell me some tips how do i avoid to happen ???

Hi Guys, Here is the about Threading I've promised earlier. It is the lengthiest by me till de but the most elabored and inmive one too. Tried to explain everything without using jargons so th it can be understood by mass. Please have y pience and go along with it. I am sure you're gonna like it and believe me, it is gonna clear a lots of thing about threading. So here it begins:

Introduction:
Multithreading is a technique implemented in all the modern CPU or Processor to run multiple threads simultaneously. It increases the parallel processing capabilities of a CPU resulting improved permance by using Thread level parallelism or TLP and maximizing the CPU resce usage. technique is rooted long back in 70s and gone through a lot of new techniques, new concepts and hardware changes. In we will cover different types of threading, from orthodox Multitasking to Hyperthreading to Multicore processors.

Instruction Level Parallelism, Out of Order Execution and Pipelining:
Bee we start discussion TLP, let’s spend few words about the basics of ILP or Instruction Level Parallelism. The most common techniques are pipelining and Out of Order execution and are present in all the modern processors. These techniques are implemented as hardware logic inside the CPU die and don’t need the aid of OS.

Pipelining: The CPU’s execution core is divided into some logical units. simplicity we can have 5 units, namely Fetch Instruction (FI), Decode Instruction (DI), Fetch Operand (FO), Execute Instruction (EI) and Write Back Output (WO). Instruction Pipelining basically overlaps the execution of multiple instructions to increase the execution re of instructions. Here suppose clock cycle C1, instruction is fetched by FI, C2, the instruction is decoded and th
e addresses of the operands to which the operion needs to be permed are retrieved by DI, C3 the operands are fetched from either CPU register or from Memory by (FO), C4 the operion permed by EI and C5, the result is write back to memory or register the instruction i. Now C2, the FI unit is sitting idle…so it can start fetching the instruction i+1. Similarly C3, both FI and DI units are idle, so FI can start fetching the instruction i+2 and DI can start decoding the instruction i+1. process goes on all the units present. So executing instruction I, five clock cycles are needed but finishing i+1, only 6 clock cycles are needed and i+2 to be finished only 7 clock cycles are needed. If Pipelining is not there, finishing I to i3, 15 clock cycles would be required.
So from the above discussion it is very clear th more the number of instructions which can be overlapped, more permance benefit will be achieved from Pipleline
simplicity we are assuming all the instructions are independent of each other.



Out of Order Execution: In very simple word, OOE architecture takes code th was written and compiled to be executed in a specific order, reschedules the sequence of Instructions (if possible) so th they make maximum use of the processor resces, Executes them, and then arranges them back in their original order so th the results can be written out to memory. To the programmer and the user, it looks as if an
ordered, sequential stream of instructions went into the CPU and identically ordered, sequential stream of computional results emerged. Only the CPU knows in wh order the program's instructions were actually executed, and in th respect the processor is like a black box to both the programmer and the user.

Wh are a Process, Context and Thread:
When we run multiple programs in computer, those programs are basically loaded to main memory. The more technical term about a program is called Process. Now a process may consist of different sub modules and execution of all of them will signify the successful completion of the process. Process some unique fields to be uniquely identified by the Opering system. Collection of these parameters is called Context. Context actually holds da to store the current ste of the process. It contains the CPU register values, Program Counter, the instruction which needs to be executed in next iterion etc.
Thread: Now it is observed if the process can sub divided into small pieces of sub processes with their own ste, da and work then the execution can be faster. The reason is executing those small sub programs is easier than a heavy weight process because the subprocesses operes with small set of da and less number of instructions. So these small subprocesses are called Thread. So in main memory, a process is again divided into multiple threads, each of them their own da to opere on and to perm a specific task. Like the process, Threads have their own Context which contains the Context of the parent process and additional inmion which is unique to a particular thread. A process always least one Thread. In th case it is a single threaded applicion.
If multiple processes share a common method, then the thread creed the method can be placed once in Main memory or Ram and can be shared by all the processes rher than placing multiple copies of it. It improves memory utilizion.
Difference between Running and Executing: When a process is loaded in main memory then it is assumed as running. Several processes can be loaded into main memory and we can say th several processes are running simultaneously.
But when any of the running processes gets CPU time and its instructions are getting executed by the CPU, only then we can say th the process is executing.

Conventional Multithreading, A single core single threaded processor, CONTEXT SWITCHING
Consider a single threaded processor is running multiple processes simultaneously. Now since there is only one CPU available, only one program can be executed any particular point. Even in Pentium 4 days we used to run multiple applicions like Web browser, Word documents, Windows media player simultaneously. It looks like th a single CPU is executing all the processes simultaneously. Actually it is an illusion creed by the Opering system by implementing a technique known as Time Sharing. Here Opering system alloces each of the running process to CPU a specific time period which is known as Time Slice. The time slice is not fixed all the running processes. Even a specific process can be given different time slice value in different run. the alloced time slice, the instructions of a process are getting executed by CPU. Inside the CPU, different ILP techniques like Pipelining, Out of Order execution can be used to maximize CPU resce utilizion the instructions of the particular process. Once the time slice is expired, Opering system saves all the values of the CPU registers, current ste of the program to the Context of th process and writes it back to the main memory. Then it alloces another process to the CPU the time slice alloced to it and process continues. So when a process again gets its next time slice, it can be started from the point where it was left in the last iterion. technique is known as Context Switching.
Here one of the most important factors is value of the time slice. It to be small enough th the user doesn't notice any degradion in the usability and permance of the running programs, and it to be large enough th each program a sufficient amount of CPU time in which to get useful work done. All the modern OS can set a specific value Tie Slice each process depending upon the nure and complexity of the process.

Initial approaches Determining Time slice were to leave it to the process itself. Here OS does not ce any process to release the CPU resce and it is known as Preemptive Multitasking. But if the process is not well optimized to handle resce, it may cause serious permance issue by not releasing the CPU resce and other processes will be waiting the CPU indefinite period of time

To resolve the issue, Cooperive Multitasking is introduced which ces the processes to release the CPU once their time slice expired. It also use Memory Protection feure to ensure th a process can only access its own memory space, not any others.

Hypothetical CPU:

Front End: Front end of the CPU consists of Fetching, decoding, Branch Prediction, program Counter, Out of Order Rescheduling Logic etc. These operions are basically scalar operions and done in sequence. So CPU front end is basically an In Order unit where operions are permed in the same order as it is specified.
Execution Core: Execution core consists of the execution units and retire logic. Here the instructions are originally executed and the instruction reached its end ste. So pipelining is implemented inside the Execution core

In example, we are having a front end which can issue f instructions simultaneously. In case of Execution core, it a 7 issue Pipeline, i.e. one instruction needs to go through seven steps to be executed completely. Look from left to right inside the execution core, not top to bottom, you’ll find lot of similarities with the Pipelining diagram, I’ve explained earlier.

CONTEXT SWITCHING In a Single Threaded CPU:
Here the front end of the CPU can hold only instructions one thread a time. So when time slice is alloced to a Thread, it is fetched from Main memory and placed in CPU front end. All the instruction fetches, decode and Out of Order rescheduling is permed over the instructions of the thread and then it is alloced to Execution Unit. Once time slice is expired, all the values from execution unit, temporary results are written back to memory with the CONTEXT value of the thread upded and the next thread is loaded to CPU front end.


A single Threaded CPU, running one process a time

In the above Diagram, different colors indice threads from different processes. Currently inside Main memory, 4 different processes are running, but only the instructions from the red colored Process are getting executed by the CPU while other processes wait their time slice to come.
Also, be sure and notice those empty white boxes in the pipelines of each of the execution core's functional units. Those empty pipeline stages, or pipeline bubbles, represent missed opportunities useful work; they're execution slots where, whever reason, the CPU couldn't schedule any useful code to run, so they propage down the pipeline empty. One of the main reasons Pipeline Bubbles is th practically there are lots of dependencies among the instructions from a thread and all of them can’t be run in parallel and Pipeline needs to be stalled reason to wait some other instruction to be completed or least partially completed until some intermedie result is available

The empty boxes in the front end indice th CPU cannot actually reach the maximum limit a single Thread, which is 4 in example, issued instructions. The main reason is dependencies among the instructions of a Thread and even using Out of Order rescheduling logic. On most CPU cycles it issues 2 instructions in parallel.

Advantages and Disadvantages: Although from the above discussion it looks like the conventional Context based Multitasking concept is not good, it is not true. In CPU resce utilizion obviously it is not th efficient but in OS point of view, it couple of advantages

switching from one Thread to another thread, CPU to access Main memory which is a very slow process. Now a single threaded big Process, it is not even possible to load the whole process inside CPU cache or Register and needs multiple Memory access, resulting cost of valuable CPU cycles. But a Thread of light weight program are small, so fetching them and writing them after their time slice expired is easier compared to a huge single threaded process. It also improves the memory allocion efficiency since the whole process does not need to be residing inside the memory, only the active threads of process will do the job.

Superthreading with a Multithreaded Processor

One of the technique to maximize maximum CPU resce utilizion by running multiple threads concurrently and elimines the waste of CPU resce associed with a single threaded design is known as Time Slice MultiThreading or Superthreading and a Processor uses th technique is known as Multithreaded processor. These processors are capable of executing multiple threads a time; although in most of the desktop processors the concurrent threads th can be executed is two.


A two way Superthreaded CPU, switching between two threads in each clock cycle

Here the front end is upded and can hold instructions of two threads simultaneously. Also here the number of white boxes is fewer compared to a single threaded processor as Front end is issuing instructions from two threads. The small arrows in the Left hand side of the execution core are indicing how instructions from two threads can be mixed up inside the execution core. Look from left to right, a pipeline stage is either having yellow boxes or red boxes, but not both, indicing th one CPU cycle instructions from only one thread can be issued.
The Reason is here th in a Superthreaded processor, a single pipeline stage can only executes instructions from one and only one thread. Let’s explain it more clearly with the help of the diagram:
Here the Frontend can issue hold two threads simultaneously and issue 4 instructions to the 7 functional unit Pipelines based execution core. However, all the instructions should come only one thread because each of two threads present in front end as the thread is confined in a time slice. But here the Time Slice is just One CPU Cycle. Look the diagram, in the 1st line of Pipeline only instruction from Yellow thread is present, in the 2nd line of the pipeline only instruction from Red thread.
So instead of system memory containing multiple running threads th the OS swaps in and out of the CPU each time slice, the CPU's front end now contains multiple executing threads and its issuing logic switches back and th between them on each clock cycle as it sends instructions into the execution core. It is a far faster approach as switching among the threads present inside the Frontend is really quick as Frontend runs the same speed of the CPU.

Multithreaded processors can help allevie some of the lency problems brought on by DRAM memory's slowness relive to the CPU. instance, consider the case of a multithreaded processor executing two threads, red and yellow. If the red thread requests da from main memory and da aren’t present in the cache, then thread could stall many CPU cycles while waiting the da to arrive from slower main memory or RAM. In the meantime, however, the processor could execute the yellow thread while the red one is stalled; thereby keeping the pipeline and getting useful work out of wh would otherwise be dead cycles. I know you guys know it as Hyperthreading or Simultaneous Multi Threading, but it is not.

Barrel Processor: One of the implemention of Superthreading is known as Barrel Processor which can have n number of Thread registers and a single execution unit. The execution unit is alloced to each of the thread registers a fixed time and process continues. So if you have a 700 MHz processor with 7 threads, it will roughly behave as seven (700/7) = 100 MHz processors. Although it looks like there is no permance improvement as 700 MHz processor can perm 7 times faster than a single 100 MHz processor, so seven 100 MHz CPU processing power is roughly equivalent to one 700 MHz CPU. But you guys are getting one thing….Memory lency. Even today, armed with high speed DDR3 memory, ondie memory controller, CPU still waits more than 50% of its time just waiting memory. In 80s, CPU used to wait more than 80% of its time. Barrel processor hides th lency memory access. Here when one thread is waiting memory resces, dependencies; CPU another six threads to pick up to keep its execution units busy while Frontend is perming Memory read activities.


While superthreading can help immensely in hiding memory access lencies, it does not, however, address the waste associed with poor instructionlevel parallelism within individual threads. If the scheduler can find only two instructions in the red thread to issue in parallel to the execution unit on a given cycle, then the other two issue slots will simply go unused.

Hyperthreading: the next step, Bringing ILP and TLP together

HyperThreading or Simultaneous MultiThreading and brings ILP and TLP together. Simply put, HyperThreading removes the restriction of Superthreading th any given clock cycle, Frontend can only issue instructions from one thread only. Here any clock cycle Frontend can issue instructions from all the threads present in it. It takes into account the fact th the CPU Execution core can’t distinguish the instructions coming from different threads as instructions are steless. It basically improves the ILP permance to improve the TLP. Look the following Diagrams:


a: Two way HT processor

b: Single Threaded Dual Core

Diagram a describes a 2 way Hyperthreaded Processor where diagram b is a single threaded dual core processor. If you look little carey, you’ll find th if you merge the two CPU blocks of the dual core processor into one then it will look like the CPU block of the HT processor. Th is the reason a two way Hyperthreaded CPU is viewed as two logical processors to OS.
Let’s discuss its advantage in more details. Now CPU Frontend is containing two threads, Red and Yellow. Suppose Out of Order Execution Logic fetched all the Instruction Level Parallelism (ILP) from the red thread and it can issue two instructions in parallel from the Red thread in an upcoming cycle. is an exceeding scenario because research proven th the average ILP th can be extracted from most code is two instructions per cycle.
Now as Out of Order execution unit is aware th still two Instruction Issue slots are empty, it can start working on the yellow thread and fetch 2 instructions the coming cycle which can be issued in parallel with the two instructions of the Red thread.I think now you guys are getting the idea, HyperThreading lets multiple threads to be executed concurrently, not by switching between them. So here total of f instructions is being issued from the Frontend, hence maximizing the resce utilizion. Otherwise these two slots would have gone wasted. Also now execution unit which a seven stage pipeline is having 4 instructions th can be overlapped together, hence increasing the efficiency of the pipeline.
In either a singlethreaded or multicore singlethreaded processor design, the two leftover slots would just have to go unused the reasons outlined above. But in the hyperthreaded design, those two slots can be filled with instructions from another thread. Hyperthreading, then, removes the issue bottleneck th plagued previous processor designs.

OS Requirement to Implement Hyperthreading

The minimum requirement the OS to identify a Hyperthreaded processor is th it should be MultiCore aware so th the Hyperthreaded processor can be treed as a dual core processor and OS can schedule two threads simultaneously to it. But better permance, OS must know the difference between a true dual core and a Hyperthreaded processor. Consider the following scenario with a Dual Core i5 processor where OS sees it as a 4 logical processor cores. Now suppose OS assigned two threads to two of the logical cores which belongs to a single physical core. Since the execution unit is only one, particular Physical core will be very busy to execute both the threads while other physical core is sitting idle as both the threads have to share the CPU resce of a Single execution core. But if OS is aware of the Physical cores Vs Logical cores, then each of the two threads can be issued to each of the Physical cores so th instructions of each of thread can have more CPU resce as here each of them are having a separe execution unit.

Caching in SMT processor
As you know th in a Non Hyperthreaded Multicore processors, like Phenom II, each of the core its own instruction and da cache inside the die. They may share a Offchip large cache like the L3 cache. The dediced caches to each of the core, L1(both da Cache and Instruction Cache) and L2 cache, stay inside the CPU die and the Offchip large L3 cache resides outside the CPU die but inside a single package. things implemented to reduce the extra hardware cost to handle Cache Coherency problem. Cache coherency problem occurs when multiple core use a shared cache and a specific locion X of the cache upded by Core1 bee the old value can be read by Core2. Here Core2 will read the upded or new value of X where the intention was to read the initial value in locion X .The main Cache Coherency problems are:
i. Read Bee Write: Locion X of cache read by CPU1 bee it was upded by CPU2 where CPU1 is supposed to read the upded value.
ii. Write bee Read: Here locion X upded by CPU2 bee CPU1 can read it where CPU1 was supposed to read the initial value of X, not the upded one
iii. Write bee Write: is the most potential danger case. Here CPU1 updes the locion X after CPU2 but the value wanted is the upded value from CPU2. So the value th CPU2 written in the locion X is lost and an erroneous value placed.

Normally special restriction laws are implemented in hardware level to prevent such issues and since L3 cache is not a OnChip cache, the extra hardware cost is not much. But implementing it inside the CPU die is not very costeffective way.

In SMT, the Instruction and Da Cache are shared to both the logical cores and each of them can access any da or instruction present inside the L1 cache. However, it also increases the possibility of cache coherency problem as the cache is shared by both the logical cores.

Problems : Here the cache is not aware of any of the threads and unlike the Processor Scheduling queue where CPU can switch between threads, here a single thread can monopolize the cache access completely and there is no way to ce it coopere intelligently with the other executing threads. But the processor will issue instructions from both the threads but instructions the other thread will starve cache access and cannot be completed within time, resulting CPU resce lock an elonged period of time. means th, in a worstcase scenario where the two running threads have two completely different memory reference pterns (i.e. they're accessing two completely different areas of memory and sharing no da all) the cache will begin thrashing as da each thread is
alternely swapped in and out and bus and cache bandwidth are maxed out. Th is one of the main reason some applicions to perm poorly in HT enabled processor than in a NonHT processor.

Bulldozer: Module based architecture to enhance SMT
I think you guys have finished my explanion of Bulldozer core about its handling of multiple threads concurrently. Bulldozer modules have another trick to reduce Cache Coherency problem. Inside a module both the Bulldozer core shares a single instruction cache but they have a separe Da Cache dediced to each of them. I think now you get the idea...Instructions cache multiple instructions from both the threads but it doesn't bring Cache coherency issue as instructions are steless, it does not mter which instruction belongs to which thread. So both the core can fetch instructions from the instruction cache to increase parallelism but all the operands, temporary results required or need to be stored by an instruction being executed in one core can be put in its own da cache, elimining the chance of Da Coherency. If the 2nd Core needs da from the 1st core, 1st core can send the proper da as it already knows which da to return from its da cache.

Well, here I finish my lengthiest . I think I have covered most of the things. Have little pience to finish it as it'll clear a lot of doubt about Threading.

Hello everyone, I'm pretty new on Jailbreak/unlocking stuffs, I wanted to unlock my 3GS and now I'm stuck.
Pretty much is wh happen
Original IOS was 4.1
Upgraded to 4.3.5 by "Mistake"
I installed the IOS 5 Beta using snowbreeze, it was fine Jailbreaked but unable to unlock.
Tried to downgraded to 4.3.3 using redsnow, it was unable to finish the firmware install got stuck on "activading bundle" or something like th.
Tried to restore through itunes to current 4.3.5, no luck neither

I have tried several times no luck

Now the iphone is pretty much stuck on recovery mode.

Any help really apprecited.

One thing i have noticed since past th brands like sony vaio, dell are more concerned about reliability of laptop than just putting in the best possible GPU in the laptop.

Eg: In previous sony vaio EB series it had underclocked hd5650 GPU unlike other brands, even in current CB series, it gone lower clocked HD6630m instead of HD6650m.

I have noticed th higher the clock speed> more the he produced> reduces the life of laptop.


On the contrary, i have noticed brand like HP, is more concerned about tracting the customers than reliability of laptop.
It puts in the best possible GPU (high clocked) low price to tract customers.
Eg: dv66121 with 6770m( high clock speed) . It doesnt have cooling system which can cool down beast.
Hence more he produced> less reliability.

I have posted inmion because I have seen people recommending HP laptop all the way than other brands just falling its specs without thinking about reliability.

Even people who buy laptop gaming should look specs as well as reliability.

I have posted here as i feel its an advice regarding buying a laptop.

Note: is just my opinion. I am not supporting any brand nor opposing any brand.
He is one of the causes th reduces the life of laptop.

Hi. I am planning to buy Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 laptop. I am in need of suggestions or feedback. After going through the questionnaire thread, i have these as my requirements.

My budget is Rs.40k (maximum, cant stretch a bit)
screen size 15.6 inches (must, not a fan of 14 inch screens)
I would like to stick with Dell
I will be mainly using it wching HD movies, browsing and other day today usage
I won't carry my laptop much
I do not play lest games in high resolution but gaming is a priority as i almost daily play games like FM11, Fifa 11, call of duty (world war, black ops), Need speed shift and do not want to experience any lag
Btery life is not so important as i won't carry my laptop
Even online shopping is preferred
Windows 7 as OS choice

I found the above mentioned Dell model to be fine my requirements. The GPU caught me interested as i can play my game choices without any problem. I welcome suggestions and feedback bee buying model.

I am having problem where the nvidia display driver does not load during start up. I can see Windows and login screen, but everything is in default low resolution. I can tell the driver did not load because evga precision complains it does not detect the display device. especially happens more often during a cold boot after not being turned on like a whole day.

And it seems to randomly load correctly only when I reboot or turn PC on and off a few times or more, then does not happen anymore until the next day. Does anyone know why is the case?

I was then going to print out the notes since there is no colornotes iphone. I can't even find the developers web to email. do you have it? I am going to transfer the info manually to Evernote so I she will have cross plm access including the desktop.

is to block a regular number and not the ones th come under the purview of DND etc.
Have receiving pesky calls from a certain number. Reporting the number to the Airtel CC wont help in case they change the number nor am I aware if such a feure exists.

Hello. I'm building a micro x system my me and I want to ask a few questions about it.

1: Is it Easy to work with, or is it hell to access?
2: Does it already have stand offs the motherboard?
3: Can it get really crouded with millions of cables?

I think cases are pretty damn important. I took my system out of my HAF 922 into a Corsair Graphite 600T because the Corsair screams EASE OF USE.

Hi everyone,

I am sorry to post a new thread but after hs searching online I cannot find the answer. Now I am new to jailbreaking but I spent hs researching it. I learned (correct me if I'm wrong) th:

04.10.01 cannot be unlocked so I need to preserve the baseband and just jailbreak the phone. is fine as I do not need to unlock it.

My phone was already on 4.3.3 but I still need to download the 4.3.3 ipws file to complete the jail break.

I also downloaded tiny umbrella to save the shsh blob, which I saved.

Now I used sn0wbreese 2.7.3 and followed a tutorial. Everything went fine until I had to reboot with iTunes ( 10.4.1.10) and I got the error 3194. So googled how to fix and tried
Unchecking the relevant boxes in TU, rebooting the computer and it wouldn't work. So I googled how to take the phone out of recovery mode and pressed the power and home buttons until I got my phone back.

So now I don't know where my phone is , I am in Ireland the minute and my phone is on a U.K. carrier. It will not connect to a network but I don't know if th is because I am roaming. I don't know how to go about starting to jailbreak again, or should I leave it? On TU it says I have 4.3.5 saved and I have no idea why??
But on my phone it still 4.3.3 and 04.10.01. So sorry the long winded post,
Can anyone help?

FYI:

I got a text earlier in the week saying I'm approaching my message limit. My phone app showed I was not close to my 250 message limit. I called customer service and the guy said don't worry even though a text message from Verizon warned of and the Verizon web login showed the problem. He also said he's note the account.

Today I log in see I'm over. I call *611 and the Verizon rep says I can't go by the phone app nor does she see the guy I spoke to on the 9th noting the account as I requested.

I asked a supervisor but was told none were available until ler in the day.

I took a screen shot of the My Verizon app and am tempted to report to the my ste's Public Service Commission because Verizon is probably over billing a lot of people if app reports same others.

Hi, scrching my head on one. concerns the stock Email app, used with an exchange account, or pop3, or IMAP, tried all 3 and same result.
I receive an email with an tachment, it shows a paperclip symbol in the inbox. Tapping the email to open it, I get the sender, below th the subject, then below th the body. No tachment shows anywhere whsoever.
Now, if I then press the top right envelope icon, and select 'ward', i get a compose screen to ward the message, and well I never the tachment shows up!!

So now, in order to view an tachment, I have to open the email and then select the option to ward it, only then can I see it and open it! Any ideas wh's going on?
(Please don't say install another client, i don't want th, I'm trying to discover why the default one is doing !)

Power App today is pleased to introduce AquaDrop 1.1 iOS, an upde to their casual Game where play takes place underwer, and players must use streams of bubbles to push balls up from the sea floor and into baskets. Feuring advanced underwer game physics, the arcade game includes left and right bubble jet controllers, which must be tapped repeedly to cree a continuous stream th will carry balls upward. Players can influence the ball's horizontal movement by tilting their iOS device, trying to achieve the highest score in the least time. The game includes f levels of play, each with five stages: Angel Fish, Clown Fish, Dolphin, and Goldfish.

The game offers a hypnotic quality, akin to gazing multicolored fish inside an aquarium. Fish swim by randomly, and plants sway back and th in the currents the sea floor. Mini soccer balls, just heavy enough to sink to the bottom, rest on the uneven seabed and slowly move under the influence of gravity and the gentle currents. Balls are identical, but there are two different colors, red and yellow. One and/or two thirds up the screen are one or two translucent, plastic baskets (grey, red, or yellow). The goal of the game is to get the required number of colored balls into mching colored baskets in the allotted time (50 seconds).

The first thing players notice when opering the bubble jet controls is th touching the large circular button produces no result all. Only after the player lifts their finger from the control does a twosecond stream of tiny air bubbles shoot up from the bottom right and/or left corner(s). Balls nearby are affected by the air bubbles, cing them upward. In addition to the strong, linear ce of the stream itself (less than the width of a single ball), there are resultant hydraulic ces pushing nearby balls upward, though not as strongly.

In fact, tilting the iPhone so th all the balls are against the bottom left of the screen, one can see each ball come under a greer influence of the bubble stream as the iPhone is tilted right. As the balls slowly move rightward, they are caught up in a steep, hydraulic stream until carried straight upward on air bubbles. The underwer physics are highly realistic, and give a true sense of how balls might move when actually underwer.

Grey baskets accept red or yellow balls. higher stages, players are required to mch the colors of balls and baskets, and baskets may be moving. Players will develop their own style of tapping and tilting the device to maneuver the balls into baskets. Future updes will include more advanced levels of play and fish/ball interaction. Version 1.1 introduces spiked, metal balls, which will shter any basket they inadvertently enter as they are carried upward on the bubble jet. Also new in v1.1 are triangular indicors the top of the screen th track the horizontal position of any ball th pushed so high it is temporarily off the screen.

Well folks, here's the craic:

Background
The only thing I changed recently was installing and uninstalling the software th came with a Logitech C270 webcam. The first uninstall tempt was unnsuccessful: the process went into a loop and the window simply minimised when I tried to access it. A lot of files had clearly removed but the software was still showing up in the Add/Remove programs list. After a long wait and numerous restarts and fiddling, I reinstalled the software from the CD and was able to uninstall cleanly, or so it seemed...

Situion
The desktop is overscaled. I can't see the toolbar or the top or sides of the screen. didn't occur immediely after uinstalling the C270 software, I was wching something on Youtube last night when it happened. The resolution is set correctly. Scaling in CCC is more or less where it should be. I have to reduce scaling in CCC to the far lefthand side of the slide in order to see the toolbar, but th also produces thick black borders. If I change resolution I can get everything to fit in, but not the nive resolution.

Is there a simple fix ? Would a fresh install of the 11.8 drivers fix it?

I would like advice bee proceeding, in case I do something th makes mters worse.

I am trying to set up a simple fileserver to store all my files, I have installed Windows server 2003 & want to be able to connect to it via Windows 7 machines wh is the best way to do ?

I have both machines (server 2003 & Windows 7) on the same Workgroup, I try connecting to the server by typing \\fileserv in the search but I'm getting "Windows cannot access \\fileserv"

Win 7 machine can't ping Server 2003
Server 2003 can ping Win 7 machine (and can access folders)

I'm a new Galaxy S II (and new Android) user, and am a bit disappointed in the btery life of my new phone. It was running down extremely quickly yesterday, only lasting about 12 hs with relively normal use (sending half a dozen texts, downloading 2 apps, checking Facebook and Twitter once an h or so a couple of minutes throughout the day). I allowed the phone to discharge completely and charged it y last night, but morning nothing seems to have improved. I burned up 10% of the btery in half an h sending 2 texts, checking my emails, Facebook and Twitter and downloading and trying out a couple of apps.

I'm anxious to know if there's a bit of a burnin time with the btery on thing does it get better after a few charges? I see a lot of people saying they can have the phone on a few days in some cases, but th's definitely not my experience thus far.

I've installed JuiceDefender (balanced profile), AutoKiller Memory and Advanced Task Killer to try to sort things out but none of them seem to having too much effect and to be quite honest I'd rher not have to compromise my experience by running a number of apps like to try to extend my btery life all (nor do I want to have to turn the brightness right down to an unusable level, or set black wallpapers example).

Does anyone have any real advice on ? I'm starting to think th switching ROMs might be worthwhile? I see th the leaked 2.3.4 ROM seems to have better btery life is correct? I'm a bit reluctant to switch to any other unofficial ROMs as there are so many I wouldn't know where to start. It seems they all make a lot of changes but I'd want to keep as close to the stock feel as possible, just with better btery life.

Hey all,

I am looking to upgrade my current video card (Sapphire HD 4870 1GB) to something smaller and capable of running newer game titles higher settings.

I have offered an EVGA SuperClocked GTX560 2GB (nonTi version) ~ $150. My dilemma is : I am afraid if I purce card the GTX 560 Ti and/or HD6950 2GB will drop in price to $199 and under, or AMD/Nvidia will release their nextgenerion cards price point within the next few months.

Aside from the permance boost, I am interested in the GTX 560 because it is considerably smaller than my current card and consumes less power load. My 4870 is a little bit long my case (Antec Sona III), a shorter card will allow me to install a secondary 120mm case fan to help with case airflow.

Is a GTX 560 nonTi a worthwhile upgrade from an HD 4870, or is it better to wait the next generion / when the price drops on the GTX 560 Ti?

i have an old 8400 gs and have just had some trouble with the bsod with nv4_disp.dll which i seem to have solved.
While trying to fix the bsod, i installed GPUz and realised th the card was only showing as having 256mb memory but on dxdiag and [control panel]>[display]>[advanced] it shows as 512 mb. is my card fried or am i missing something?

Well basically, I wanted to play a prank on my brother so I download a little prank thing th made it do a fake BSOD and I put it in startup. It happens within 10 seconds of loading the desktop. Well, to get rid of it you must go task manager and stop it there or ALT+ F4. But when I do the task bar and all the icons disappear. The only thing on the screen is the mouse and task manager, and I can run tasks through File> Run. Is there a way to bootup without going through the startups or get the taskbar back?

EDIT: Through my frantic and excellent thinking *cough* I just wrote a barrage of commands into File>Run> %appda% and now everything is fine! Now i can play the prank and remove it! :)

wow,ive never played series bee,played just about every other fps on the planet over the last 20+ years ,got it off of steam a not bad price,think it was 3540$ aus,its a very gritty kaotic scenario based in part on the german invasion of russia during ww2,ths kind of deeply depressing in an extremely fun way,damn id he to be in a war if its anything like the madness th goes on in game!!! hahaha.:laugh:

So yesterday I welcomed a Japanese Gamecube in my console family. Its hardmodded to play US/JAP games using a switch, and with the help of Freeloader also EU games can be played.

Now, the Gamecube being Japanese, it uses NTSC, which is as we know opering 60hz.
My TV, being European and all, is PAL, so 50hz.

Now I'm aware th just like th it doesn't work (or lead to the dreaded NTSC50). But my TV is also 60hz capable. So in theory, on a hardware level, it should work.

Well it doesn't. I used the standard Gamecube Compo cables, both on the front TV inputs and via SCART adapter on both back slots. Result is a greyscale picture when tempting to play US games. And Mariokart Double Dashs Rainbow Road looks rher not rainbowish in grayscale.

A solution to try would be hooking the Gamecube to the TV via SVideo (I have the proper cables). Now my TV doesn't have a nive SVideo input, and I don't have an adapter.

Would one work? Or should I not even bother.

If it wouldn't work, wh other steps could one perm without actually getting a new TV?
Note th I use a tube TV all my old consoles. Also note th I'm aware of the fact th some Gamecube games have the option to select the Hertz value on boot, but some doesn't, and I want to play all games in color, not just some.

Hello everyone. I am currently in chennai and new to place.

1. Wh is the purpose of the computer?
A: Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe After Effects CS5, Sony Vegas Pro 10. High Definition Multimedia. Hardcore gaming; Well i play almost every game but i would want Btlefield 3 to run on ULTRA settings.

2. Are you open to alterne ideas/products giving similar better permance but offering more VFM/ sellers? If not why?
A: Yes

3. Wh is y MAX budget?
A: 65,000 to 80,000 INR.

4. Planning to overclock?
A: Yes but i will have to read the tutorials.

5. Which OS are you planning to use?
A: Windows 7 Ultime 64bit

6. How much hard drive space is needed?
A: 2 to 3 Tb

7. Wh resolution will the screen run & whs the size of the screen you want? If you already want have one and want to use it, mention its resolution and size.
A: Not really sure. I guess 21 inch or more...

8. How would you re y hardware knowledge from the count of 110? (1 being the lowest, 5 being you are somewh in sync with the current permers and 10 being the highest)
A: 7

9. Have you ever built a desktop bee or will be done by an assembler?
A: No

10. When are you planning to buy the system?
A: In a month or so

11. Are you one of the types looking out "future proof" configurions?

12. Are there going to be any components th you don't want to include in new rig? If yes, do mention.

I have a very annoying issue I cant seem to resolve, When I am near a mall or suburban area, my phone picks up a wifi signal and prompts me to log into there server.

It is always Xfinity .....never anything else... I dont have a log in nor do I want one.

It pops up 10 times in a row bee it stops, when it pops up it interupts whever im doing.

I dont want to turn off wifi is there a way to block from happening.

I have an issue retrieving older emails..

I have a gmail account, there is a folder called all mail th well .... all my mail, sent, deleted.

On my Mac I have access to emails I sent or received the life of the account ( several years of emails ) all populed in the folder when I open it.

On my IP4 ver 4.3.5 I cannot access the same emails under the same all mail folder. I can only see a few weeks best. I just found a setting in settings th gives you control of mail days to sync, I set it to 1 month seems th is as far back as the phone will access.

Sucks,,,

AM I doing something wrong or is there a fix ??

I really need access to old emails, Blackberry was excellent but besides th they basically suck.

Does any one know if there will be any improvements to the mail app in IOS 5 ?

My jailbroken IPhone4 crashed. It was version 4.0. Cydia on it. It won't boot past the white Apple start. I did a recent backup on ITunes.

Anyway to restore the Iphone4 from my backup and not loose the JailBreak? If I click restore, will th upgrade my phone and block any new jailbreak?

It will enter DFU mode

Please help. I'm stuck without a phone right now.

[Tech] Which SSD?

It would appear my raptor finally crapped out on me, cing me to pursue new booting appari. I'm essentially looking some help wading through the seemingly endless options ssd's. I'm thinking 128gb probably and bang/buck is where I prefer to buy. Currently I was eying the crucial m4 @ microcenter $179. Any other suggestions are welcome though, preferably fry's or microcenter as I'd rher not wait to get my machine back up and running, but a killer deal online is certainly worth waiting .

Hello guys.

I have a problem with my 5850cf setup in one particular game, Btlefield Bad Company 2.
When i play singelplayer my cards are working 9099%. In multiplayer on the other hand, their usage are only working 5060% on a 32 player server, on a empty server i got as high usage as in singelplayer.

My fps is not much higher then a singelcard when they´re only working 5060% and i have the same fps on the lowest setting as on the highest.

Now, is a bottleneck or do i have some other strange problem?

My specs are: AMD 965 @4ghz, msi 890fxagd70, 4gb of ram, 5850cf, corsair vx 550 powersupply, corsair ce 80gb with w7 ultime on.
11.6 drivers, same problem with all drivers.

If deference to an older post by j7469, as of Beta 7 the old Nokia alpha string *3001#12345#* now launches a Field Test app on my iPhone 4. :D

How I discovered the app's presence, I was having problems with making a call with my TWS iP4 one night, but picked up my VZW phone in error to check wh was going on with nearby towers and was surprised to see 1xEVDO and 1x menus.

FYI, don't get frustred with the menus, tapping on the arrow/caret on the right side of the screen works, sometimes tapping on the characters doesn't work. And, the app button quits the Field Test app without issue the Ec/No number (signal strength) don't "stick" when quitting the Field Test app. If someone else posted elsewhere, give me I did search first bee creing thread.

I read TiPb via an RSS reader on my iPad. Apparently, y RSS feed only gives out 10 s a time. means th I am missing s via the feed reader.

Is it possible to increase ? Given the number of s th are posted by TiPb, only handing out the most recent 10 seems too few.

I'm using a 1TB WD Black with Wiindows 7 Home Premium right now. I got a new SSD and it will be here in a few days. How do I go about putting Windows 7 on the new drive and taking it off the old one while still using the same key (it is a legit bought OEM copy).

I am using an AMD 1090t and overclocked it to 3.6GHz and morning I increased the CPU rio to 20 and the CPU frequency went up to 4GHz in BIOS but Everest/AIDA claim the CPU is 3.75GHz right now. Did I do something wrong?

edit: Windows control panel claims 1090t 4.01GHz though. :/
