[Tech] Random blue screens of deh, please help

problem occurred to me the past 3 months. But I decided to try and figure out the problem. I am not overclocking and it still occurs. I have about 3 different errors.
IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

I have some crash dumps in the tachment.

Would also be nice if I knew how to view them.

Wh I have done:
Memory Testing (No problems)
Fresh install
Underclocked video card
CPU temperure is cool.

Is it just windows or a bad driver?
Im lost right now.

[Tech] Logitech G700 btery life

<div>I'm still getting used to my G700 but one thing th I noticed almost immediely is th the btery life sucks. To see if was a defect in the unit I bought or something characteristic of the model, I went online. In very short order I got the impression th is indeed an issue with model. However I also discovered th I had it on the std game setting rher than power saver. Setting to PS mode did help but even then, an alkaline btery with more than 1.5v of charge left on it still only lasted a few days. The included rechargeable btery didn't do nearly as well IIRC.

I was getting ready to start bitching to Logitech about the problem when I decided to see if the mouse would take some high voltage rechargeables th I had. These are the NiZn type th you never seem to hear about but which are fantastic rechargeables. The only problem is th they charge up to a little more than 1.6v and th voltage, many electronic devices reject them. I guess they must have over voltage circuits th kick in.

However the G700 seems to be perfectly happy with 1.6v and I've running a couple of days now on one of those.

[Mob] Hoping 2.3.5 will be better

Well i can't wait until 2.3.5 is released , 2.3.4 JVQ the worst my SGS since the 2.1.
Phone constantly hangs , App errors , Black screen and have to pull Bt and very slow responce. Closing an app leaves 5 second black screen bee it comes back.
through all the usual stuff including factory reset , but my SGS it's the worst.
BTW i live on the safe side and always upde via Kies, after a small dabble start of the year with Odin.

So roll on 2.3.5 :D, life's a drag the moment haha and still 9 months of contract left .Should be SGS III out by then lol

Hello, Recently i had bad problems with my XFX 4890 causing texture/pixel problems ingame.

I think it stred few months ago but very slowely in game Counter strike: sce, when i stood still i had some white squares and circles popping out. Now the dots/circles started to be bigger and bigger, some are black and some white, Also my FPS dropped down alot since i bought the card, i had 300 FPS now i barely have 200 with medium settings.

Intel core i7 930
XFX 4890 1GB
Asus P6X58DE
Corsair XMS3 6GB
BeQuiet straightpower 600W

Help would be very apprecied, Thank you.

I don't know if brought up already... so give my ignorance. My bios is showing my cpu temp 30c... asus suite II is showing it also 30c.... core temp is showing 38c and realtemp also 38c...

bios = 30c
asus suite II = 30c
coretemp = 38c
realtemp = 38c

I would like t o believe th the bios/asus probe is the correct temperure because it's much closer to my ambient temperure of 25c, but i know th a lot of people trust real temp and core temp.

Any input would be much apprecied

The weird thing is i recently switched cpu coolers from cooler master n520 to corsair h80 and they both have the same idle temps on REALTEMP AND CORETEMP but under load the h80 is 10 degrees cooler...

So I just got my first job, and I'm making $15 an h and I get 30+ hs a week. I'm only $14 so not like I need th money to pay bills, so I'm gunna spend it on hardware:rockout:. I have a blue and black theme in my case/room so I would like to keep it th way. So right now the big road block is should I go intel? (2600K) or should I stay AMD and get something like a 6core? Or should I wait a bit longer bulldozer?

CPU: Intel 2600K or AMD 1100T
Mobo: Need a socket to choose, but needs good oc feures, needs to look nice, have 2 16x slots, decent reviews.
GPU: Prob going to go 6970..
Ram: corsair vengeance 1600mhz 8 gigs.
PSU: My current psu can handle it all. No need to change it now.
Network card: Never really had a good one, so suggest something nice.
Cooling: I want wer, but know nothing about the products. I think I can fit a dual 120 and a single 120 rad in my case.

I'll be buying the new HP PAVILION DV4 3016TX tomorrow from kolka from MD. computers. So my queries are URGENT.

1. I plan to upgrade RAM (dd31333) to 8GB. So how much would more and is th an easy process and how much time would it take ??

2. HP is providing HOME BASIC instead of HOME PREMIUM, and as i want the benefits of home premium (like media center, aero,network creion) would it be possible to persuade the shop owner to give me a CD of home premium instead of home basic FREE or a small fee ?

Just occurred to me I feel incredibly slow

The square on the home button symbolizes an app icon. :eek:

I finally got myself a decent PC, but there's one big problem with it. On my older PC, I had downloads of up to 500kbp/s; on one, I get half of it best. The weird thing is, when I go to speedtest.net I get the same speed I got bee, but I can't figure out why downloads are slower. My older PC had a Celeron 1.3ghz and 512mb of RAM, if you must know. Wh can I check or do to fix th?

[Tech] Could it be the GPU?

Last week I was reading an online um, when the screen turned red with jagged purple lines running through it, the system froze, requiring a hard reset.

Last night, I was just surfing around, and the screen went black and the system locked up, cing another hard reset.

In both cases, there was no Blue Screen.

Not having experienced bee, I am hoping someone could verify, or least provide steps I can take to verify th my GTX460 is the culprit, or to discover wh the real problem is.

Any inmion you need to help solve ; please ask.

I have a Galaxy S(1) today while tempting to take a few snapshots of my baby daughter & mother, my trusty camera failed!
Having missed out on these special memories Im now seeking advice on wh to do next as my Galaxy S is well looked after & the only upgrade was a new 8 gig memory card....I have no clue how to resolve issue any help would be awesome.

Hi there. I have had my Galaxy S some time now and am all round v happy with it, apart from one annoying little thing.

No contacts profile picture when in tx message inbox.....

I have sync'd with facebook via the android app many times to see if it would finally work but it nt. I have gone through my contacts and one by one joined the facebook added ones with names and numbers i already had.

I dont know wh else to try so any ideas/answers to minor but Very irriting problem would be much apprecied

[Mob] Settings Changed Sometimes After Hard Reset of iPhone 3GS, and turning off iss

Sometimes after I do a Hard Reset "Hold Sleep and Home Button till iPhone Turns Off" when I turn my iPhone back on sometimes the progress bar comes up and sometimes it doesn't but sometimes my settings are changed from wh I had them. The screen brightness, % indicor is off, Notificions are on, somethings in sound are different, along with a few more settings.

doesn't happen all the time, It seems to be after I install or delete apps. If I do it just randomly after using my iPhone all day it doesn't.

Is there an issuse with my iPhone?

Also sometimes when I hold the sleep down and then swipe to turn off it starts to turn off but then comes right back on, is an issue also?

[Mob] No Bootrom info listed in Device Instance ID 3GS?

I was checking my Bootrom in in Device Instance ID and it was not listed there. I remember doing it a while ago and having the old bootrom. Anybody know why it would not be listed? Would still have the old bootrom do those change also with iOS Updes?

First sorry if was asked I couldn't find none similar

Might be a bit fool but In my experience I often accidentally close the tab or the browser (or if it or the entire system crashes during the reply) with the message half or written because I am doing another things together then I lost all writing and if it is a long thread or reply is very annoying. Could you implement some warning message similar to Hotmail when you close the new email page tab

or better, some autosaving feure similar to script th can recover even if the browser or the entire computer closes or crashes

[Tech] UPS Overload Issue

Hi,

I just got myself a Microtek UPS 625VA 1550/ @ Delhi.
starters the UPS works fine if I unplug it, switch it on & then turn on my rig. Didn't test out the back up durion, but it works.
However if I switch it on, turn on my rig & then unplug it from the wall socket (hence simuling a sudden power cut), then the UPS overloads because of the sudden power requirement from the btery.

My rig config is in my sig. My decade old Luminous Bravo 600VA doesn't overload albeit doesn't give backup either (btery issues every 2months, hence substituting it)

So any suggestions? Did I get a bad egg of a UPS, is my CX400 using too much power, should I get the 800VA model or just get the 600VA APC (the only one available 1900/)

Any ideas?

P.S. UPS works fine if it's just the monitor & the speakers, it's when (or only time) I plug the PSU plug does it overload on power outage.

Lol. I decided to tether to my iPad as Three seems to be faster than t mobile mobile broadband the moment.

Kept getting a pop up saying safari cannot open the page as it is not connected to the internet. Was getting really annoyed, couldn't work out why my tethering wasn't working.

Finally, I realisesd wh the problem was. I have green power installed and running, set to turn off da when screen goes off. Rofl. Oops.

Newbie here to android and got my new S2 which is just 2 days old and now ended up with Samsung Service Centre.


Is there anyone face problem with Da Network connection when got y new phone?
My phone da signal showing intermittent issue, resulting some software like Whsapp and Viber not working but when i connect to WIFI, both works.

I talked to my telco, changed my SIM card, reset my line and problem still persists.

I kind of think iOS 5 is sorely missing some kind of notifier when you have unaddressed notificions in the notificion center UI.

So, I designed . It's based on the little clock icon th shows when you have an alarm active, but instead it could feure a number to denote how many unread notificions you have. Alternively, it could simply show an exclamion point rher than a number (because the number might be a little small to see comtably).

September is already more than half over and still no announcement about when the next Apple event will be. If the rumors are true and the iPhone 5 is to be released within the first couple of weeks of October, I'm stunned th invitions haven't sent out by now. Heck, I haven't even heard a rumor about a possible de the Keynote.

I really can't believe Apple would miss a holiday season without a new iPhone regardless of how well the iPhone 4 is selling. So I to be coming soon but without even a definitive de the event, the wait is just th much longer.

Any guesses on when the event will be the keynote?

I have the hardware in my profile. I often get soundlooping crashes. Sometimes I can go a few days without any crashes, and sometimes it's a few times a day, I guess it depends wh I run. So I took out my Auzentech sound card, believing it might be the culprit, but onboard sound does the same.

I checked my RAM and it checks out. I don't have any he problems, and I recently reinstalled windows to see if software might be responsible. The same problem occurs.

So I am a bit of a loss... Can a faulty motherboard cause such a thing?

Deus Ex Human Revolution crahes the most, and BFBC2 also crashes somewh frequently.

Okay, so here we ago again :banghead: ..I have previously started a um earlier month about my computer flickering on and off. I thought it was my RAM and I did a MEMORY TEST and everything came back fine. So, I reseed my RAM sticks and the problem went away. Low and behold my computer started flickering on and off again about a week ler. So, I opened up my case and made sure everything was properly connected (which it was). After I am done checking, I go and turn my PSU switch on in the back and then I turned on my PC Power Switch in the front and now it just flickers my system lights and then turns off.

I have noticed th when I turned it on it gives a red light (My PSU is Apevia Warlock and it changes color by pressing the button in the back), but I had my preset to color blue. So, I am thinking it to be the PSU. So, th said, when I take out my 4PIN Molex Power Connector. The power the whole system goes on. But, when I reconnect it, the power won't turn on.

My question is: Are these all clear signs of a dying PSU? I don't have the kit to test the rails individuality, but I am 90% sure th it's the PSU

I just bought a CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 ($90 Newegg special) so I am excited by th (probably will be my house by next Friday) I have read th people who own the Apevia Warlock series, they usually last 1.52 years and after th they are paper weight. Wh sucks is, they only have 1 year limited warranty and I am happy th CORSAIR offers 5 year warranty.

So .mp3 is like the lowest sound quality I have heard. I guess it's because the audio file is compressed, which makes it worse. Which does make sense.

So wh m is better? I currently use iTunes but could switch if it meant a step up in audo quality.

Also: Wh is a program burning CD's th will play in a car. I am currently using Burrrn. Not sure if it works yet as I am right now burning the first cd. :S

I'm not the most optimistic person in the world though, so i had a question about th. I know how apple is about wanting to get every cent th they can out of people, and we also know th they are aware th a good majority of the pwoplw who jailbreak, use it to get free stuff. We also know th they are aware th there is a good percentage of the people out there who have iPhones do jailbreak.

My question: is it all possible th they can somehow, if they decide in the future, to crack down on jailbreaking and cydia?

pleaase help!!! my phone shut off, don't know how or when but the bt shouldn't have dead. i tried every trick i could find on the net to put in dfu mode or boot tethered now. i follow the tether and i just keep getting apple logo on a black screen. i won't even show up on my comp or iTunes. any thoughts?????

Since the new iphone will most likely be 3g only on verizon and with how they are beginning to throttle the top 5% does make anyone have second thoughts about the i5 on verizon? The problem with most smartphone calendars is th they either show too much da or too little. The list view is gre showing you lots of da but doesn't show the structure of the week very well. [Tech] Sapphire 2gb 6950 not using 3d high power

Spent time looking, but I didn't find any posts reling to issue. I have 2 Sapphire 2GB 6950s in cfx, all stock. They have working beautiy months. Recently I noticed th 1 card does not 'shift' into 3D high power. While the other card does. So the clocks are 250/500/800 and one card maxes 500 while the other goes to 800.

I fixed the issue by upgrading the driver (11.7=>11.8) once. Now 2 weeks ler it is happening again and reinstalling the driver is not solving the issue.

[Tech] Samsung SA850 series displays (PLSpanel)

Didn't see news about these on TPU, so I thought about putting a thread up these.

S27A850 27" 2560x1440
S24A850DW 24" 1920x1200

The PLS panel should have the advantages of IPS but with better response time. These displays have USB 3.0 hub and some feures th seem to be good, like detachable VESA mount and ability to have picture from two different sces on the screen simultaneously.

I didn't find much and it seems there is SA650 and SA750 too, but could be just selling with different name in different regions.

So in about 2 weeks from now I will buy a new gaming rig and I only mean to use it gaming... (I also have a laptop th I use and will use surfing the webs and music), I am not thinking of or having a wish to buy/build a nuclear power plant gaming rig so to speak :)
I have already found the parts th I want to and will buy I just need y expertise/thoughts on how much or how gre of a PSU do I need my list...

[Tech] Windows screwed up it's repair. Help!

I was on my PC today surfing ums when my computer reset. When it tried to start back up I recieved 0xc000000e "The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible."

So I booted off my trusty USB Windows 7 "CD" and did a repair. It said it found an error and repaired it. I rebooted and Windows worked! Gre! Except one thing. I have to have my USB stick installed, and BIOS set to boot from th first, in order Windows to load. >.< Apperently Windows decided th the USB stick was a better place to put my boot manager then my harddrive which contains the OS files. Are you #ucking kidding me Microsoft? WHY would they even allow th situion?

How do I fix it? Where Micro$oft hidden the variable "K" so I can change it to "C"?

[Tech] No Support Intel Pentium M Processor?

Pardon my lowtech IQ, but I thought my GenuineIntel Pentium M processor would have supported by RealTemp. I'm running Windows XP Pro on a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop (ded, I know!). I'd apprecie confirming th it is indeed not supported and any recommendions wh software might support it. In particular, I need to monitor my fan temperure.

[Mob] Nokia E6 Installion Error

Hello.

I have problems installing applicions th are not certified on my device, it seems like I can only install the apps th are available the ovi store.

Now, I am not sure th the certificion is the main problem problem here, however, is the error th I'm getting:

"Internal error: Jsr plugin com.nokia.mj.impl.chapi.core.utils.ServiceProvider Installer cancelled installion".
