I have creed a html file using Adobe Imagready with more like a big image consisting of 6 slices, now I want to post the html file to a vBulletein um where it sholud display itself like an image in a browser with active links on certain text, now suggest me a way out how to post it in the um apart from hosting the file in a webhosting server.

suggest me a way to add active links to a image.

I picked up a cheap mouse during my time in China summer like $5. Wh drew me to it was the brand and the shape; it was a Sonybranded Razer DehAdder replica. While I knew th was all bullshit and th there wouldn't be a quality sensor or superb craftsmanship, I thought my folks would enjoy the ergonomic shape over their current Wheel Mouse Optical.

Anyway, I was testing it out today and lo and behold, the damn side buttons are switched. The back button takes me ward and vice versa. I can't change it in Windows' mouse properties as it's not a Microsoft mouse, and the mouse didn't come with software.

Is there a registry tweak to fix ?

kit is y functional and without issues. The pump and 2 werblocks are Swiftech. The radior is a custom made 2 row single pass radior with built in fill/bleed. Mounted to the radior are 2 120mm Thermaltake fans th are both adjustable and include temp probes as well. I am including all of the different mounting brackets, adapters, springs, screws, ect. Basically everything you see below is included. system is designed to use 3/8in tubing.

Hi.. Is the Galaxy S2 one speaker a problem. Is the sound low, especially when listening to music or the ringing tone.. Those of you who have S2, wh would you say about , especially if the phone is in a cover, or in the pocket or in a noisy area.. Can you hear it well when it rings?

My laptop runs on a 64 bit edition of Windows 7 Ultime.

Every time I try to install Ubuntu in my laptop (via the Wubi installer), the following error is displayed in the middle of the installion (please see tached image "ubuntuerror.jpg").

Needless to say th the installion fails and Ubuntu does not get installed.

I have tried installing Ubuntu 11.04 (32 & 64 bit), Digit customised Ubuntu 11.04 and Ubuntu 10.04 (32 bit). But all my tempts were in vain.

Please tell me how I will be able to run Ubuntu on my computer. Is the problem arising from the 64 bit edition of Windows?

I have two 5850s in crossfire. (ASUS EAH 5850 TOP DirectCU)


I've monitoring my two 5850s in GPUZ near 100% GPU usage.

I've noticed th whilst my main 5850 clocks upto 765Mhz + 1125Mhz, but my secondary 5850 stays downlocked 157 MHz + 300Mhz.

Both cards need 6pin + 8pin power connection. But the secondary card I'm only running 6pin + 6pin, could be the reason why it stays downclocked 157 MHz + 300Mhz?

So I'm studying in Hong Kong until the end of year and I'm considering buying an unlocked iPhone 4 since it's not th expensive. Just a few questions about how all works.

1) I would have a sim card from Hong Kong. If I brought it back to the U.S. would me local use, I should get a new sim card right?

2) I normally use Verizon when I'm back in the U.S., but since would only be compible with &T, how would I be charged by them? I mean, if I want to get a U.S. number and use &T's service, how do I go about obtaining a sim card? I've lived in the U.S. all my life and never seen sim cards sale anywhere

3) If the iPhone 5 does come out year and it does indeed have 4G service and I buy it in Hong Kong (unlocked obviously), if I brought it back to the U.S. could I get 4G service with &T?

when making new text tones everything is fine until i make the new file smsreceived6.aif, then when I rename file smsreceived6.caf, the logo on the file disappears and I can not play the file any more. I am using window 7 I have tried on windows Xp and I can change the name and play the file but as soon as I copy file to my laptop using windows 7 the file will not play is there some setting I need to alter on windows 7?

So I've bought a new computer. The graphic card was sold out so i am using my old 5770 the moment. after a week, (today) i finally received my ASUS I Radeon HD 6970 2gb. and when i connected it and started my computer, the monitor wasnt responding. i could hear windows signing in all all but nothing was showing up. my monitor two DVI connections and the cable i use is a DVI (from the monitor) and to the PC is dsub with a DVI converter/adapter(?). the motherboard i am using is Crosshair IV mula. tried connecting the 6970 to the top (first PCI x16 slot) and the second slot, but nothing is working. i am starting to suspect its my monitor cable th is faulty here.

My cousin wants to convert the pc to "dual gpu pc". She Sapphire HD 6850 and a Msi e35880gm and processor is phenom ii x4.

Can mobo handle 2 gfx cards?
Wh should be done, physx or crossfire? Budget is 1012k and includes everything th needs to be changed.

BTW PSU is some CX 500w(not sure wh was bee it). Will be enough? Mobo,needs to be changed too??

[Tech] Very warm laptop CPU. Wh can I do?

(Apart from creing rhyming titles :D)


When I purced laptop July 2008 the idle temperures would be in the high30's or low 40's.

I always used to take out all hesinks and clean, laptop is squeaky clean inside, even now.

Some month ago I ran Speccy and found th on idle the cores were reaching 60 degrees :eek: So I dismantled everything, cleaned the copper hesink and cpu, put a ricegrain portion of Arctic Silver 5.

I didn't run the laptop again (was waiting a new GPU) but here's wh I found now :(



Th's a relively low cpu usage of 14%. Obviously I didn't want to check the load temperure.... :ohwell:

Wh could be wrong?

1) Laptop coolers and fans are clean.
2) I've got a Zalman NC2000 laptop cooler.
3) I had changed the TIM paste
4) I never oc'd the cpu (locked bios).

I'm pretty sure I applied the TIM correctly, I did many other desktop processors and they're just fine. And Q9450 is in fact a desktop processor inside a laptop...

Could it be th processors might 'deteriore' over time, and run hotter irrespective of wh one does? Is there a way I can get to run idle in the high 30's and load in the high 50's as it used to do three summers ago?

Yes... a food company. Regardless, Apple is asserting th Sichuan Fangguo Food Co. is infringing on Apple's universally recognized company logo.

The controversial image in question is pictured above. And in case you're wondering, the logo isn't new by any stretch of the imaginion. The Fangguo logo was actually creed by a Beijingbased design company in the 1980s.

I find myself having to edit a flashfile th I didt not cree (I have never done flash) a web, and I have able to move things around and resize the canvass (stage?) now I just need to know how to pass and detect a variable to it so I can show a frame upon load (ie something like if ($_get['page']) == "x" { //do_stuff })

edit: is wh I tried so far:
* right click on frame1 /layer1 > action
* typed the following:

didn't work so I just put

didn't work as well :(.


Please be very specific and concise with instructions, as I have no experience with flash as I mentioned (lol myself stumbling through the UI).

Long time since I've here, hope you are all keeping well.

I have something to ask. Long story but to cut it short, I am termining my home broadband and am getting the one plan from three with all the da you can e etc.

I opted the HTC Wilfire S as it was the cheapest tariff. I will need to root it I think in order to get it to tether with my iPad2. (crikey, wh a traitor I am to the Samsung camp). Lol.

I was wondering if anybody here had the wildfire s and knows how to root it? I am finding the destructions hard to understand (no change there) and was rher hoping th although is a Samsung users , th some kind person might be able to help me through it.

I receive the phone tomorrow sometime and the first thing I will want to do is root it unless of cse it will tether with the iPad unrooted, in which case, it won't be necessary.

I sure wish I had opted the s2 but it was an extra £10 a month and I didn't think I could afd it. Tried ringing back to change my order but can't get through again so perhaps th's telling me to stick with the wildfire s.

Anyway, as usual I've rambled on, sorry th.

If anybody can help me, I will be eternally greful and the only reason I am even posting on here is because I know wh lovely kind helpful folk you all are.

Hmmm title says it all....I'm so so disappointed to have just received yet another brand new N8 with the purple screen problem (3rd one!!!). I so wish my E7 had a macrocapable camera....but th doesn't excuse the digraceful N8 QC/manufacturing dept. Nokia should be ashamed of themselves....and by the way, all the ones in my local carepoint (Baku) have same problem, so they say it's normal and won't do anything about it!!.....aaaargh, so frustring.

one is really starting to annoy me now :(

I've got the Galaxy S2 and setup exchange, emails work find (annoyed th I STILL cannot sync sub folders automically) but the calendar refuses to sync.

I've creed entries on my exchange calendar and on the phone and neither entries appear on the other. I've even ce synced and when I do the sync icon comes up and within a blink of an eye it goes again.

I've tried clearing the da as suggested in another um post here but th didn't work. If I dock the phone to the Kies software (Load of sh!7e) then I can manually sync th way but I need to keep my exchange calendar separe.

Another thing to note is when I go into the calendar on my device I only see My Calendar, I used to see Google Calendar but th now vanished and I'd expect to see an exchange one there.

Please help work are harassing me to sort it out!

I do 3D custom equipment design, using Solidworks equipment design, simulion and rendering. The equipment Layout assemblies are huge (10 000 to 50 000 components opened during rendering). Untunely I need to take the computer to clients often, so just now I bought the fastest laptop I could find.
Clevo X7200 based luggable a Xeon X5690 and a Nvidia Quadro 5010M crammed inside ! I will not complaint th rocket runs hot (consumption Xeon = 130W, and nVidia = 100W). I need its turbo power when modeling many long days, because then it uses only one core. The potential problem arrises when a project is finished and I start to render.

When I bought it, I knew I could not run it throttle many hs like on my big (and slow) desktop workstion. During initial load test drives the hottest Core reached 97° C within 10 minutes (distance to TjMax shown as 4°C), and from th point on the CPU Clock multiplier started to be controlled in an alterning ptern.
Once every minute the Clock Multiplier was dropped from its default 26x 133.32 MHz down to 12x about 4 seconds. As far as I can see th seems to be enough to drop the core temp down to 80° C right the end of such 4 second modulion. Nurally the core temp races back up within seconds to about a degree under its prior temp, and after maybe 15 sec to about the same temp again. But it did slow down the climbing re though ! After 15 min of load the fan noise picked up distinctively (around 98°C). It hit 99° C a couple of times (around 25 minutes), but after th kept running max 98° up to the finish in 45 minutes. Strange enough on another 80 minute load test, the system managed to stay 91° without any multiplier modulion. was achieved by running the Airco throttle and pointing it the laptop (caught a cold in the process, but hey it worked).

I guess the system can work close to load many hs after all (and it needs to be able to do th untended). HOWEVER : I do not want to run it so close to Tj Max bee the modulion of intel (or is it Clevo) kicks in. I only want to use th safety as a last resort safety option ( speed monster is too expensive to risk a few minutes gain).

UNTUNELY I DO NEED TO RUN MOST OF MY 3D MODELLING WORK ON ONE CORE USING ITS TURBO BOOST MULTIPLIER.
The clock modulion feure of y excellent Real Temp 3.60 seems to be ON time.
Can you recommend a similar executable to be actived by y Alarm EXE function ?
( It would be nice if it could reset itself after a given time )

P.s. real Temp only shows the temperure of 3 of the 6 cores !
Does the alarm react to the other 3 cores ?

In a major embarrassment to the people behind the AMD Radeon Dirt 3 promotion, as many as 3 million Steam product redeem codes of Dirt 3, the new rally simulor game, were leaked to the internet, according to a post on Steam ums by a Bohemia Interactive representive. AMD is running a promotion where select models of Radeon graphics cards across various AIB partners and AMD's own ASeries APUs, come with free Dirt 3 keys th can be redeemed in Steam a copy of the game.

According to the representive, those millions of keys were stored in an SQL dabase th could have easily accessed by a simple missing .htaccess exploit. Steam might blacklist all those keys, and ask users with valid codes to reregister their products with AIB partners fresh keys. Steam users reported a "Steam Key Giveaway" running on an infamous imageboard, to which the Bohemia Interactive representive responded.

ASUS released a new embedded microX motherboard based on AMD's Fusion "Zace" processor plm. The new E45M1M PRO from ASUS resembles the E35M1M PRO, except th it's powered by the newer AMD E450 dualcore APU. Clocked 1.65 GHz, the E450 combines two Bobc architecture x8664 cores with Radeon HD 6320 DirectX 11compliant graphics packing 80 stream processors, and a DDR31333 MHz integred memory controller. The E45M1M PRO measures 244 x 183 mm, and makes use of all of its expansion area to provide f expansion slots: a PCIExpress 2.0 x16, a PCIE x1, and two legacy PCI.

The board draws power from standard 24pin X with 4pin CPU power. A 3pe VRM handles APU power, it is backed by ASUS EPU chip th works to improve energy efficiency. The APU is wired to two DDR3 DIMM slots, singlechannel DDR3 memory. A large hesink cools both the APU and Hudson M1 chipset, optionally a fan can be tached to cool it better.



Storage connectivity includes five internal SA 6 Gb/s ports and one eSA 6 Gb/s. Display connectivity includes one each of HDMI, DVI, and DSub. Other connectivity includes 6channel HD audio with 7.1 channel optical SPDIF output, two USB 3.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet, Firewire, and a number of USB 2.0 ports. The board is driven by UEFI firmware, including ASUS' EZMode GUI setup program.

Hi,
I'd like to upgrade the RAM in my laptop, as I've found th more than half of it is reserved by hardware. However, my budget doesn't allow me to go with HP's RAM, which is why I'm trying to find alternives. was proven to be rher confusing me, because I couldn't find much inmion on potential compibility issues with th specific laptop. Long story short: I need help with choosing a kit of RAM and would be very greful any advice and warnings.

I own the captioned Galaxy model.

I have an issue with the in built Navigion functionality. I get the 'Waiting locion' initially, followed by 'Searching GPS' a short while, followed by 'Getting driving directions' which stays on ever. However, as I drive, I can see my movement on Galaxy map clearly.

On the ums it is mentioned th Applicions > Settings > Accounts and Sync > Background da is ON (green tick).

How can I correct issue? Y help is highly apprecied.

years I've had mobos with two network ports, but I've only ever needed one. I can't really think of a use two either, except maybe as a switch or server running two different networks.

Previously I Was Using A Entry Level I Boll Cabinet. Now I Got The Cooler Masters. I Also Bought A

I Assembled All Things. Kicked The OLD Cabinet & SMPS. Then Bee Applying The New GPU, I Assembled The Machine With The Old GPU To Just Wch How It Looks(Cabinet). The Problem Begins Now.

The First Time The PC Boots Well And Starts XP. I Listened Half Of A Song.
Then The PC Just Restarts Means The Fans LED s In The Cabinet Go Dark And Then It Starts Again But Time Showing The MB Name Logo And Restarts It Happens Again And Again. :( So I


Use 20 Pin X And 4 Pin 12v. Instead Of 24 Pin And 8 Pin 12v.
Reassemble It.
Giving Direct Power To The SMPS Instead Of From UPS.
Detached The Fans And LED s.
Solo Power From UPS(Only The Power To The SMPS Is Given From One Single UPS).

But Nothing Helps Me :(.

When The Power Goes From The SMPS It Sounds A Very Little "tak" And After 2 Sec When It Comes Back It Gives The Same Sound.


When I Reassembly It Then The First Time It Did Not Boot. Just The Power LED s Blinked And Off. I Tried Two Times. But After A While It Starts But The Restarts Problem Happens Again.


But Nothing Helps Me.
Being Afraid I Did Not Install My New GPU.

[Tech] Burned DVD's Work in SOME players

So I have burning movies a while now. I currently use Philips DVD+R disks. (4.7gb obviously)

After I burn a movie to the disk it will work in the DVD player in my parents room, as well as in my DVD player th is part of my TV. However, when I try to play the DVD in Blue Ray/DVD player, no luck. It says th it cant read the disk and then freezes up and needs to be restarted to even get the disk out.

So why will these DVD's work in pretty much every other DVD player, but not the Blue Ray/DVD player?

I thought maybe it was because it was +R or something, but did some simple research in the difference between +R, R, +RW, and RW and found nothing, reled to my problem th is.

I recently purced (new) a mobo/cpu/RAM (in my system specs) and have already had it repaired, as it refused to run my 2133MHz RAM over 1600MHz and even then it had to be singlechannel.
Got it back yesterday and found the following:
RAM runs properly now, but mouse still jumps around in the BIOS, making any setting changes extremely difficult
running the CPU any speed other than AUTO causes the system to fail (OCing is out of the question)
All components, other than the mobo itself, work 100% reliably in a different system (so it's not a RAM/CPU issue)
upded the BIOS to the lest version, just in case there was some kind of compibility issue

Now, the system does run reliably, as long as it's not pushed in any way (ie OCing), but th seems a bit silly, when the system it replaces is my old 965BE and it's no faster than th old system was.
Could there be some kind of setting I have missed, or is mobo just fubar?

Any insight is most apprecied :)

Guys,

I have ASRock M3A785GXH/128M motherboard. I got it from my friend. It is new motherboard 2 weeks old. Yesterday night I connected everything and checked the board, CPU, memory and power supply etc. It was working fine and I thought I can do put it in the case tomorrow morning and install OS. So I disconnected all the cables on a motherboard. Today morning I connected all back as same and pushed the power button, immidiley I saw spark and smoke near 4 PIN CPU power connector, I disconnected power supply from Motherboard, after th there was some small black spot near 4 PIN connector and still it smells. I tried with different powersupply to connect again but CPU Fan moves sec and stops.

Does anybody have any idea how I can give alterne power to CPU if my 4 PIN connector burnt or can't provide the power. I really don't want to throw motherboard just reason. You can see the pics tached to get better idea about wh happened.

Please help me.

I'm not sure whether is a fault with the phone or with with my network operor, O2. doesn't happen all of the time, just sporadically. Leave it alone. Its just a lable to display the the highest voltage ste. If you change it, you can get some powerplay troubles.

So to confirm , I only change the clocks and set 1.15v in the register as 0x17 correct ?





I didn't see any memory voltage options in RBE ( I'm using the lest ) Should I be ?

If my current memory maxes out 1150mhz . Would a 5870 Bios flash allow it to hit 1200 and beyond due to memory voltage differences or is flashing to a 5870 a bad idea due to the fact th my memory doesn't seem to be able to handle th speed ?
